weller54 Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Can see us getting 4 home wins... Takes us to 39 points... One away draw or an elusive win and it's safety!...
TJB-fox Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Tell you what, maybe aside from one or 2, we have the side to win most of our remaining games. Not that I'm expecting to win every single one, 3/4 will do me, but we should be looking to take points from every single game- even Spurs and Everton. Maybe not Arsenal
RODNEY FERNIO Posted 4 March 2017 Posted 4 March 2017 Sunderland and Boro are gone ..... Hull still have a chance though

Aus Fox Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 Boro look gone, they can't buy a goal at the minute and 9 of their last 11 against teams who still have something to play for. The teams from 8th to 13th are already on holiday, they know they're safe and can't realistically push for Europe. At this stage of the season The bottom 6 are just as tough as the top 6 with every point vital. Palace play all of the top 6 and could well need four wins from Watford, Leicester, Southampton, Hull and Burnley. I don't think Sunderland have the quality this year to win 5/6 of their last 12. Not celebrating yet, but, playing as we are we should be ok. prediction looking at games left is Sunderland, Middlesbrough and 1 from Palace or Hull.
sdb Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 Palace to have 4 bankers though. Or as close as you can get to them. 12 points will keep them up.

Foxxed Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 Everton and Spurs games are going to immense, especially if we keep playing like this.

st albans fox Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 36 minutes ago, Aus Fox said: Which games do you have down as bankers? Palace just won two back to back. Not many sides are winning at West Brom and TP was desperate to win yesterday. Their opprtinuites are at home which historically isn't their best bet but given the stakes, I would expect them to win three of those and pick up a couple of surprise draws away. That's upper thirties which should be enough. Two clean sheets with Sakho in the side !!
StanSP Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 Sunderlad are already down. Palace and Middlesbrough's run-ins are absolutely horrible.
reynard Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 No one team is "already down". It is far too close to call at the moment. We of all supporters should realise what can be done. Yes other teams look to have tricky fixtures but so do we. Plus our away form is terrible. There are no "bankers"" in the Premier League. Watford or Burnley could yet get dragged into it. Lose 4 or 5 on the bounce, quite possible in this league, and they could get nervous. Our next 5 league games are massive. Absolute minimum of 8 points required.
sdb Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 8 hours ago, Aus Fox said: Which games do you have down as bankers? Watford, Burnley and Hull at home are about the 3 easiest games available in this league. I have no idea what I thought the 4th was, but I fear they'll edge us anyway. They'll stay up, sadly.
sdb Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 Can't see the current bottom 3 going beyond 35 points. Think 36 is the target for staying up, although hopefully we comfortably surpass that.
sdb Posted 5 March 2017 Posted 5 March 2017 B'mouth 42 leicester 41 Swansea 40 Palace 38 Hull 34 Boro 32 Sunderland 32 ?
