Progression in UCL

I love those percentages. Hopefully we can surprise a few people!

You have nothing to lose - pressure is off in these situations.

Like Barca last night they had all motivation you need being 0-4 down in first game, An opportunity to do something amazing and make history: it's a fabulous opportunity to surprise people.

I got a feeling we might sneak our game 2-1. Which might mean penalties!?!

27% chance of making the quarters- sounds about right to me. We'll need to be on our game, get a bit of luck and have Sevilla not play at their best.

Bring it on.

I think Liverpool was good practice for Sevilla. They're similar in a lot of ways, energetic, some skilful attackers, bit ropey at the back, don't like being pressed.

We won't be favourites but if we score in the first twenty minutes and start with bags of energy, I can see us beating them for sure.

They're a strong side but they're a little over hyped by the press because they've had a reasonable league season.

I think reasonable is a tad harsh lol

They've had a great campaign considering who they are up against to actually win it, on top of their very good record in Europe in recent seasons.

I agree, the Liverpool performance should be the blueprint.

Sevilla have been brilliant this season, but it may just be starting to take its toll on them. They look a bit jaded, they're having to rest players and they have a game 3 days before. We should be well up for it- as you say, an early goal would blow it wide open.

Well, the last time this team was an underdogs they won the league. 1/5000 and look how that ended.

About the same as our average possession from last season then.

Yeah they play on Saturday too but it's Legunas (apologies if I've spelt that wrongly) and they are 16th so they may field a weakened side.

The away goal is massive advantage, 1-0 takes us through.

The are a possession based side, we are built to counter, it set it up nicely. I hope the weather changes, a nice cold, wet night in Leicester would be perfect.

If we score first they have to attack, will be interesting how both side approach the game.

2-1 would get us some extra time before pens.

away goal is huge because it allows us to concede without too much drama. and you'd think we definitely will concede. if it was 2-0 or even 1-0 and we then conceded we'd probably be screwed.

now we can go out, attack/go for it from the off and even if we concede we still only need to win the game and it'll be ok. the pressure of having to keep tight at the back would've ruined any flow we tried to get going forward imo if we had to almost certainly keep a clean sheet.

whatever happens the pre match and first 15-20 mins atmosphere should be (hopefully) one of the best in living memory. this is history in the making.
