Hopefully we can win both our home games so we can rest player at Everton.

Agreed, it's why West Ham tomorrow is such an important match. It's not just 3 more points for PL survival but a chance to get away from the relegation zone early and put our sole focus on the Champions League.

Ideally we take 9pts from West Ham (a), Stoke (h) and Sunderland (h) and be sat on 36pts and we can play the squad at Everton (a), Palace (a) and put the focus on the Champions League.

We've proven to be better than number 3 in Spain. And now we will meet number 4 ...

By the time the two sides meet in April, Atlético may have swapped places with Sevilla.

They boast by far the better defense than the latter. Very tough nut to crack away from home.

Godin and Simeone employed at the same club added to the buying of the ref in our previous encounter, I don't need any more motivation to dislike this club

Yeah sorry, they've announced we're being chucked out over the Vardy incident and being replaced by Tottenham

So would I but if we can take all 9pts then 36pts and eight league games left gives us plenty of leg room to play the second XI against Everton and Palace whilst the first XI can concentrate on the two mid week matches against Atletico.

I'm not sure Shakey will take that chance if we're on 33pts.

For me West Ham is massive tomorrow not just for staying up but our Champions League hopes.

Flight options are disappearing fast, cheapest I can find now is over 200 quid and that's via Switzerland

That's because airline websites monitor activity and you're all driving the prices up before the date has even been announced.

Bitter sweet - I've made a rookie mistake, I'm abroad for the second leg...was praying for a home leg first....ah well......CUMMON UCL!!!
