In the club's defence the last one did quote from Julius Caesar, you know that play about an Italian who gets stabbed in the back.

You mean the one written by Shakespeare ................

Ultimately was approved by LCFC and UEFA 2 days before the game so surprised if that's the reason unless they've since got the reference.

Nope - UFS one was last year, 1-1, Vardy streak.

Got it. It was the flags that went back up for utd this season wasn't.

TBF a mixture of the club one and a UnionFS one looked great v Sevilla.

I know it seems UnionFS havn't been allowed to do one from what we're hearing but all the talk of a club one being poor e.t.c are abit of the mark.

...Providing we don't get the Fearless banners/Anything else down that type of line.

No doubt we will.

Absolutely baffled they won't let Union FS do a tifo, the last one was absolutely brilliant.

If I see a hashtag on anything I'll be looking the other way.

That's great, I've got a gold flag by the looks of it.

I'm blue - just.

It's better than what they've done before but there's nothing particularly creative about it, no statement of determination. It's okay. Union FS would've done better I suspect.

Wow some of you still more bothered by the pretties than the game, fkn unbelievably sad!

That's actually not what people are saying, and you know it. What people are saying is that they think the club have made the wrong decision on this particular matter.

Yes they are, there's some tantrums, hissy fits and sulking cos the CLUB have made a decision which they are fully entitled too.

It's a few seconds and the important thing is 90+ minutes of supporting not a few seconds of holding some foil up or waving a flag.

Decisions been made, moaning and bleating helps and changes feck all!

No, they aren't.

I don't think anyone has said the Tifo or lack of is more important than the game, just that it's such a shame we have to have a club organised one, which historically have not been that inspiring :)

That picture of Fuchs seems to have two new trusses up above the goal, one either side. Are the club doing a pull-up thing of their own? Fox eyes have always been on ropes looped over the beams at the front of the roof...

For the Premier league game when they were along the main stand didn't it just contain more lights and a few smoke machines?

I couldn't see anything else on them other than that. Certainly wouldn't be used to hoist something up, they're not structural beams, merely lighting rigs used in night clubs and gigs.

A closer look, it seems there's some spot lights on the top beam of them, maybe some light show? A lot of clubs use their flood lights for them now pre match.

They're bloody things though, good idea and work well but after shifting them for years I never want to see another again.

Looks a bit like the gantries they used for the fireworks the other week (you know, when it was the chairman's birthday - not that he likes a lot of fuss of course!)

BTW - I'm not slagging of the chairman before anyone accuses me of that. I just found the whole "birthday" thing to be slightly overdone. Still, I suppose if you buy a beer for the entire crowd then you can do what you want.

EDIT - as @promised land said I think the gantries has smoke machines, not fireworks. His observational memory obvs better than mine!

They are making a big thing about it though Deb and It really is sad imo, appreciate work and effect from UFS,  Club whoever but all bleating moaning and criticism I think is petty and sad imo when we've got our biggest game ever coming up.

Yep, fireworks were all along the Astro stuff infront of the stand, smoke and lights were up top.

Is it dark at 7:40pm ish now? Would look quite effective if so.
