MC Prussian Posted 20 April 2017 Posted 20 April 2017 Cabbage's agent, Bartlomej Bolek (also Pawel Olkowski's and Lukasz Pizsczek's agent), was in talks with 1. FC Köln last week and quoted as follows: "What the kid needs is regular playing time. He's not had that at Leicester and due to the competition, he won't get that chance any time soon. If Cologne had the opportunity to get him on loan, it wouldn't hurt them."

It's Kramaric all over again, meant to be gods gift and is still someway short of getting the goals Okazaki got in one season in Germany... that's Shinji, falls over a lot, can't hit a barn door Okazaki.

He's only 20, got caps and goals for Poland - I think he's worth keeping around for a bit longer and don't think he could be total crap. We wont know how good he is until he actually gets a run in the team (which is probably unlikely next season), or goes out on loan and plays regularly at a decent level.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 20 April 2017 Posted 20 April 2017 Some right ****ing weirdos in here who want someone they've never seen to be starting games against the judgement of Shakey and will go on to slate a stalwart like Kingy who's actually delivered when he needs to.

I've not said he's not worth keeping around, but if the people that actually see him play every day of the week don't think he's better than what we've got. I'll not be gutted, I'll back their judgement until they are proved incorrect. We wont know how good he is until he actually gets a run in the team, or goes out on loan and plays regularly. We might not, but it's not our decision to make. It's the decision of the people who, as mentioned above watch him day in day out and don't need to watch him in games to form a judgement. Does anyone actually think our managers watch him in training and just don't play him even though he's ripping it up? The grim reality of it is, those around him will be performing better in training.

I would still be gutted, like I would with anyone highly-rated who comes to Leicester and fails. You can't argue away those feelings We should send him out on loan though - I don't want Roma getting him on the permanent just yet.

Maybe Ranieri has made the same mistake with Kap that he has with Benny. We will never know cos we won't see him play for us.
Clever Fox Posted 20 April 2017 Posted 20 April 2017 The whole handling of him doesn't look well for the Club. Why would any young talent want to sign for us with the way he's been handled. I get the impression CR wouldn't give him a chance because he wasn't his signing. As an International for Poland he must have something about him as Poland are no mugs at IT level. Maybe it's another piece of the reason why Walsh left.

AKCJ Posted 20 April 2017 Posted 20 April 2017 Been here all season to bulk up and he's still a dweeb. I get the feeling that he's not up to it mentally. Would be better suited in a cushty league like Spain or France.

'The coaches watch the squad every day, week in, week out. If they decide a player is good enough to make the breakthrough, then sobeit. Conversely, if they decide a young player isn't yet good enough, then trust them! This 'yearning' for a certain young player to come into the side is bizarre. It's often based on little to no knowledge of the player, I think people just pick a name out of the air in blind hope that they will be brilliant and because he is 'bound to be better then.....(insert name here) simply because the latter has had a bad game or two.
foxy boxing Posted 20 April 2017 Posted 20 April 2017 let's just recoup the money we paid for him, if it isn't working out now chances it won't ever so just let him go with best wishes and hope he has a good career. it just won't be here!

The management decided Benny wasn't good enough for 2 whole years. Turns out he's actually not a bad player. Not everything the management say or do is the gospel. People just want players to be given a chance so they can be judged whether they're any good or not.
