He's only 20, got caps and goals for Poland - I think he's worth keeping around for a bit longer and don't think he could be total crap. We wont know how good he is until he actually gets a run in the team (which is probably unlikely next season), or goes out on loan and plays regularly at a decent level.

I've not said he's not worth keeping around, but if the people that actually see him play every day of the week don't think he's better than what we've got. I'll not be gutted, I'll back their judgement until they are proved incorrect.

Does anyone actually think our managers watch him in training and just don't play him even though he's ripping it up? The grim reality of it is, those around him will be performing better in training.

True, I concede to your argument, Babsy. I would still be gutted, like I would with anyone highly-rated who comes to Leicester and fails. You can't argue away those feelings  

 

We should send him out on loan though - I don't want Roma getting him on the permanent just yet.

Benny has turned out to be a decent player so yeah managers make mistakes. 

 

Maybe Ranieri has made the same mistake with Kap that he has with Benny. We will never know cos we won't see him play for us.

The whole handling of him doesn't look well for the Club. Why would any young talent want to sign for us with the way he's been handled. I get the impression CR wouldn't give him a chance because he wasn't his signing. As an International for Poland he must have something about him as Poland are no mugs at IT level. Maybe it's another piece of the reason why Walsh left.

'The coaches watch the squad every day, week in, week out. If they decide a player is good enough to make the breakthrough, then sobeit. Conversely, if they decide a young player isn't yet good enough, then trust them!

This 'yearning' for a certain young player to come into the side is bizarre. It's often based on little to no knowledge of the player, I think people just pick a name out of the air in blind hope that they will be brilliant and because he is 'bound to be better then.....(insert name here) simply because the latter has had a bad game or two.

The management decided Benny wasn't good enough for 2 whole years. Turns out he's actually not a bad player. Not everything the management say or do is the gospel. 

 

People just want players to be given a chance so they can be judged whether they're any good or not.
