Bit of a harsh comparison, totally different levels.

Maybe but I never saw Lloyd give less than 100%.

He's got all the talent to be an England regular. He's got pace, technique, can pass, shoot, dribble and cross.

Only problem is he shoots when he should pass, passes when he should cross and crosses when he should shoot. Not sure if you can learn that.

My impression is that Gray's problems are in his head and heart rather than his feet. As has been mentioned, he has the tools but I have doubts he'll ever learn to be a craftsman.

So are you saying he's a tool Thracian? lol

As we seem to be talking carpentry he's a familiar face at the bench! lol

Good lord.  I wish my attitude and work ethic was so bad that I had over 130 appearances in the English top two divisions and about 30 youth England appearances by the age of 21. He must be a right lazy little cvnt. I hate him.  I absolutely fvcking hate the pr1ck. What's that?  PROVE that he is a bad apple?  Well, yer know, his face 'n' that.  Miserable face and and he tweets n things. X

I'm with baldeagle on this one. As if his daily passive aggressive tweets aren't enough, today's actions (or lack of) are another level of disrespect.

Since when did a good 60 minutes against stoke and a few above average performances against lower league opposition warrant such an ego? He strikes me as having an absolutely appalling attitude, and I'd love to know the aggregate score of his playing time with us. I'm pretty sure it'd be negative goal difference.

Reminds me of the Tommy Cooper gag when he finds a Stradivarius and a Rembrandt in his attic but unfortunately Stradivarius couldn't paint and Rembrandt couldn't play the violin!

Daily passive agresive tweets? I'm on the fence with Gray so thought I check his Twitter as see for myself and i found absolutely nothing that could be interpreted as passive aggressive for at least 3 months.... (Got bored searching his Twitter after that he's not the brightest bless him so probably much longer since he posted anything passive aggressive if he did at all)

So That's pretty low of you of you you to make something up about your own clubs player and post it as fact on a forum read by thousands of other city fans just because you don't like him.

A bit reaching if you ask me! It's not a crime to fall a sleep, for all we know, this meeting didn't even start yet so he thought that he could give his eyes a rest.

I meant instagram. I've not made anything up. He's at it constantly.

Glad to see Gray is working so hard in training he falls asleep in Temple.

Marc and Danny could take a leaf. If Drinky has enough energy to mess around pulling faces he can make himself available for the team the bloody sicknote

Gray arrived as a bit of a diva (itk) don't think that would come as a surprise.

Hope he gets destroyed by bucket loads of banter until he finds a playing and social level.

Seems slightly trivial but anyone else think this is him playing mind games? Fully aware he is being linked with a move to Bournemouth....?

Gutted for him and can understand his frustration. he should have played at least 20 minutes today. Careful Shakey...

I am not understanding your logic, and the minutes he was on the pitch proved it. Albrighton work his socks off all game, and bringing him off would have been at detriment to the team. And mahrez had touches of brilliance throughout the game. Gray had 5 minutes at the end, failed to close any one down, didn't have any touches. I don't know what you or anyone is expecting to see when he is on the pitch but if it is either of what albrighton or mahrez displayed today then I'm afraid you are going to be very disappointed

I agree with ZeGuy and I'm not a fan. He deserved at least 10/15 mins.

Are you really judging him on his 2 mins today?

Posted

Gray does look sulky but he can't do anything without people judging him.

He gets criticised for every face he pulls on the bench and every picture he posts on social media. I don't think he comes across great but he has also has a right to feel aggrieved imo.

If he doesn't get more game time and I could quite easily see him leaving for first team football. I think with a full season of starting most weeks under his belt he will be a very good player and I think the club might come to regret the amount of time we're giving him.

You missed the point. He's not going to take Albrighton or Mahrez place but when you lead 2-0 against a piss poor side, you should consider giving game time to those who usually don't play that much.

Shoulda put mahrez at 10 and stick gray on the wing when okazaki got subbed (or just gray at 10 if you want)

Exactly. Really wanted Shakey to bring him on for Vardy way before he did. The fact that Vardy got injured just emphasised we should have used him earlier.
