Going through his previous posts he seems to have some sort of contact at the club. For whatever that's worth.

He has been used as an impact sub, coming on late when the game is either won and city are having a party creating loads of chances or when they are chasing a game and therefore also piling forwards, creating chances. what is his chance conversion rate ? We dnt really have much of a base base for joe he will perform if is asked to play whole 90 mins. Fwiw, given his apparent ability to stick the ball in the net and his age, it's not much of a risk to buy him. Might keep wilf here a bit longer too!

Cant believe anybody is criticising his goalscoring record, it's staggering. Yes, he plays in a side that creates a lot of chances but his minutes per goal is much better than Aguero (!) who plays in the same team.

To slightly contradict my previous post, the stuff about not having a big sample is a fair point though. That said he has scored very regularly in cup games (when starting) and scored the decisive goal in a Manchester Derby at Old Trafford in the season just gone after starting (and set up the other I think).

I've said and done some very stupid things in my life, but I'm not sure that suggesting that Olivier Giroud with the ball in the air is not as good a finisher as Gerd Muller is one of them.
