A few who live on the street where he crashed reckoned he was doing closer to 60-70mph.

Selfish cvnt, needs to spend some time locked up and sort his head out if true that he'd been drinking aswell.

I'm sorry, Bear, but you're going to need to own your situation and just be proud or it and say "so what?" when people criticise because you are by far the PSG or Man City of the Championship and the simply fact is, it isn't fair.

What do you want people to say exactly? You haven't put together some scouting network and found some brilliant young bargains, you haven't spent years building a team of canny grafters, you haven't risen up against the odds to fight to the Premier league. What do you want acknowledgement for?

You need to be saying "yeah, we are lucky to have these owners, but **** it, they chose us" and just let it slide or this bitterness for not getting everyone else's approval is going to eat you. That's how you know when you're a big club, when you don't give a **** what people are saying about you. Look at our "do they mean us?" thread. That's how you know we're still tinpot, don't fall in to that trap.

Villa are a bigger club than you (and historically us) who only recently came down from the Prem and used their parachute payments to sign a few good deals. Terry isn't champions league quality anymore or he'd still be at Chelsea, he's an over the hill cart horse looking for one last job. There's nothing wrong with that. He dropped down to his level.

You bought the league. Simple as that. It isn't fair. Just own it. Because if you come up and do it again you'll be treated like the Leipzig of the Prem and every other club up here will hate you.

This league is just as full of bitterness and it'll drive you nuts if you let it. The amount of envy we've had from Stoke, Sunderland, the Baggies, you name it. You gotta shrug it off.

I appreciate your points and you're right it's just bitterness.

But we definitely haven't "bought the  league". Certainly no more than Villa, Derby, Leeds, Sheff Wed or Boro have chucked at it in the last two seasons.

As for our scouting network, Mendes doesn't sign our players. Nuno and the head of recruitment do. Mendes certainly has players he'll suggest/offer, but so does every other agent at every other club. The difference is Mendes' players are better quality than other clubs get offered. Plus Nuno has worked with the  majority of them before at other clubs. Any club with money can buy good players. The difference is the manager. We've got a brilliant one.

Bruce/Villa

Radrizzani/Leeds

lol

Villa beating us was their chance to catch Cardiff. Since then they've bottled it big time.Just a shame Fulham didn't win earlier to put Villa down another place.

Looking forward to watching the Sheep Shagger Derby tomorrow now. Come on you Rams!

That's sewn it up for Cardiff as well.

Congrats to Wolves and Cardiff, esp Wolves who last week were getting nervous? but have bounced back well this week and deserve credit.

I wouldn't rely on us though, bear (winning the league), we have been pretty shocking for a while now and Rowetts final throw of the dice is trying a instill a siege mentality, wont work because our lot don't look up for a fight to be honest. hope I'm wrong but can see us out the playoffs very soon :(

Neves was sublime today. Against poor opposition but you've still got to have the quality to do it.

In what sense are you using "poor" there?

Derby game is off.

I've been reading about this. Apparently the roads are clear and pitch looks fine, Derby just have a lot of injuries and dont want to get spanked.

Game is called off but their club store twitter account is encouraging people to come to the ground and buy merch.. Hmm.

Hope this rather dull weather can move on to Norway etc in the future, and leave the UK, at worst, just heavy rain on a bad forecasted day. Weekends without games on can be quite boring imo.

Didn't Cardiff stay in a hotel anyway?

Some games were allowed to play on when the snow fell, with people with brushes allowed on the pitch when the ball was out of play.

What the hell is this nonsense from Nigel Clough yesterday?

"It gives Joe Sbarra another 45 minutes under his belt at 19 years old (after he replaced Marvin Sordell at half-time).

"And the best thing about that was he received his first booking, which we asked him to do.

"That's part of growing up and playing in men's football, sometimes you're going to have to kick the opposition.

"He did that and he received a yellow card, so that's another little step for him along the way of becoming a professional footballer."

Erm what? You asked him to go out and kick someone so he could get booked? And then sound proud of it like it's some kind of rite of passage.

Has he been on the whiskey like his old man?

We need to nick Ruben Neves from wolves! Looks far too good for the championship.

Check these two passes from yesterday. The 2nd one in particular deserved a goal all on it's own.
