Thracian

he was once a barman at a leisure centre so he knows a thing or two about coaching

Stowell?

I hope so.

Said it before, but feel he's quite under-rated by some despite him being part of a management team (backroom staff) that won the club the title and - like Shakespeare - knows the club inside-out.

Not everything behind the title-winning performances were wholly down to Ranieri imo.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was Chris Powell or Kevin Phillips.

Apparently, Chris Powell was working with the team at Belvoir Drive at the end of the season and he has been a regular visitor to the KP in the last few months. I'd say It's pretty likely it will be him. I wouldn't be surprised if there's an announcement about his appointment in the next few days.

I think Sammy Lee would be a good option but I'd take the fact that Big Sam said he doesn't want to manage again with a pinch of salt.

Chris Powell was not working with the team at Belvoir Drive at the end of the season .

He probably went in for an interview, nutted Steve Gibson then told him to fvck off and die whilst throttling him!

Then walked out saying See ya Monday you Ostrich

Paul Nuttal. He worked wonders getting Tranmere to the semi final of the Champions League in 1998.

Especially when he brought himself off the bench as player manager to score the winner in the quarters

Great moment. I was amazed he could continue playing whilst in the final year of his PhD.

Surely he'd have got it straight away after the sacking if he was ever in with a chance?
