Beachyboy Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 Looking at the list of players released from other clubs a few I find interesting. Jan Kirchoff Seb Larsson Steven Piennar Kirchoff as a slight squad player upgrade to Amartey an the other 3 could be useful a few games here or there I feel. Thoughts?
MPH Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 I remember Piennar being tidy a few years ago but i couldn't possibly comment on right now. Actually i could say the same about all of them except Kirchoff - never heard of him!
Beachyboy Posted 9 June 2017 Author Posted 9 June 2017 Fletcher has gone to Stoke apparently, Kirchoff joined Sunderland in Jan 16 I think, a bit injury prone but can play as a centre back or defensive midfielder, he arrived at Sunderland from Bayern Munich.
Tielemans63 Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 Pienaar is a great signing for any club with access to a deLorean.
M0901 Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 Weren't the Sunderland fans raving about Kirchoff?? What happened to him?
Cincinnati Fox Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 Take Kirchhoff! Looked good when when we beat them 2-0 in the league winning season.
Stadt Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 Kirchhoff's always injured and not that good anyway, Pienaar and Larsson are geriatric ****s.
Tielemans63 Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 I think Larsson has always flattered to deceive. He's got a wicked set piece on him but he's actually pretty poor otherwise. Doesn't offer much at all in open play.

Fox92 Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 Was impressed with Kirchoff when he first moved to Sunderland. Even when we beat them 2-0 he looked decent in that holding role. Shame he's always injured.
