Lizhang Posted 14 September 2019 Posted 14 September 2019 1-1 today. A decent result given the opposition, away. But it wasn't a good match by us. Lucky more than once. 3

Bonanza Posted 14 September 2019 Posted 14 September 2019 Can't complain about today's draw against a championship rival. Our opponents were the better team and had way more chances than us.Too many of our guys performed under their usual level. Our goalie is the big hero today. Just be happy that you are in existence and being well-funded. Well, you're not wrong. There aren't a lot of Belgians that have enough money to own a professional football club, and those who have the money aren't interested in owning a "small" team like OHL. That's why those small teams are such an easy prey for foreign investor with ill intentions. Like Lizhang said, we also were on the verge of being owned by some fishy Chinese fellow, but that deal was cancelled when King Power came along. 1

Ric Flair Posted 16 September 2019 Posted 16 September 2019 What's the verdict then on this Kamal Sowah? I hadn't realised until recently that as soon as we signed him he went on loan to Leuven, I wonder if this will be part of our plan to recruit certain young players that otherwise wouldn't get work permits.

He has been doing suprisingly well this season. The managers gave him his chance and he took it. 3
Bonanza Posted 19 September 2019 Posted 19 September 2019 Roeselare has been cleared of bankruptcy. The judge that declared them bankrupt last week has overturned his verdict. Roeselare argued that it has enough funds to settle the debts and that the bankruptcy is based on a mistake. The business court in Kortrijk followed that argument and withdrew the bankruptcy this afternoon. The judge was strict with the club in his verdict. He called their policy sloppy and sentenced the club to all court costs. This means Roeselare can play games again. They play Lokeren away tomorrow. Last week's forfeit against Virton will still stand though. 2 1
TheLittleBigMan Posted 19 September 2019 Posted 19 September 2019 Many thanks for the continued updates too. 2

Bonanza Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 Another hard-fought game. We didn't play well against an opponent that played counter attacking football, which isn't our strong suit. All-in-all a deserved win, but we have to raise our level again if we want to win this 1st period. Lizhang Posted 22 September 2019 Posted 22 September 2019 First period is half way. We've faced all our adversaries once. The bad news is, that Virton is only one point behind, and we will face them on their turf next. If they win, they'll be in the driver's seat. Today was nothing short of a bad game. Many individual errors, virtually no penetration or depth. Our setup with 4 central midfielders is starting to wear out.
Bonanza Posted 26 September 2019 Posted 26 September 2019 We're out of the Belgian Cup after last night's 2-0 defeat in extra time against 1st division side Sint-Truiden. The lads did quite alright and we had some chances to go ahead, but all-in-all it was a deserved win for Sint-Truiden. Now we can put all our focus on the league! 1

First place in the league. Things are looking good. Happy for you. Let's hope you can keep this going and win the first half of the season. 13 hours ago, gurru991 said: I quite enjoy his comments to be quite honest. I quite like his comments too.
