I looked yesterday actually at your results (and watched the highlights video that was posted.) I bet there is a massive difference in atmosphere and expectations this season compared to last.

I know the season is still fresh but i'm really happy its all turned around for you guys.

Would really like to come over one weekend and watch a game and indulge in a few Stella's, are tickets available on the day or do they need to be pre-booked? - need to convince one of my friends to come along though since they are not into Football.

Normally, you can buy tickets before the game at the ticket containers. You can also buy your tickets online (though i don't know how easy this is as a foreigner and if certain problems will arise (due to safety etc)).

I went last year. So many fantastic beers in Brussels then a very quick and easy train to leuven. whole city was easy to walk. Of course a good few stellas too! Very easy and cheap weekend trip, would highly recommend

The difference is night and day to say the least. The club has managed to turn thing around and the overall mood around OHL is quite positive. Even those who were skeptical or even downright negative when King Power took over, are starting to come around. It's been a very long time (I'm talking at least 5 years) since people were so positive about the club.

On the pitch things just seem to click. Our managers and players are doing a fantastic job. We got rid of a lot of bad players and were able to keep our best guys. The guys we brought in are fitting in quite well. It seems like the club still want to bring in 2 attacking players to strengthen the team. The transfer window closes on monday September 2nd at 23:59, so we should expect these signings any minute now.

After last year's disaster I just wanted a quite season without any stress of relegation, so we could start building a good team. But to be fair, if the club is able to sign 2 good attacking players tomorrow, I really believe we can compete for the championship this season.

Normally you can buy tickets for our games on gamedays without any problem. Only when we play Beerschot, tickets have to be pre-booked due to safety reasons. Leuven is a very nice city. We have some great restaurants and our "Oude markt" is famous for being "the longest bar in the world".

Another signing in the closing seconds of Deadline Day:

Jeremy Perbet comes in on loan from Charleroi (Belgian 1st division).

Perbet is a 34-year-old French striker who's a true goalscoring machine. In his long career he played for a lot of teams including Club Brugge, AA Gent, Basaksehir and Villareal. He won the Belgian topscoring title in 2011 and 2016 scoring 25 and 22 goals.

I'm not sure that we can with the same ownership.

It looks like this year we'll get a real shot at promotion. The team was already performing well (mainly thanks to transfers from january), and with the new guys we get a bit more depth as well.

Going well so far today then, Kamal Sowah (on loan from us) opening the scoring

3-0 now, Sowah with the assist by the looks of it:

If the scenario of both qualifying ever occured, it would may still be possible for both to compete, but there would have to be some big changes

With Top being our Chairman and Leuvens President, he would have to step down from one, staff and board members that are involved with both clubs would need to resign from one of the clubs, and likely Leuven would not be able to register any loan players from us in the competition, would result in a massive restructure of most likely Leuven at board and staff level

Happened this time last year when RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg were drawn into the same group

But we have a while for that to happen. In the years it takes to get both ourselves and OHL into Europe there's a good chance OHL will be able to have its own board without too much overlap.

Top could always appoint another family member as president should he need to leave

Wouldn't surprise me if Apichet (Tops brother) who I believe took over Tops role as Vice Chairman at Leicester, ended up as President of Leuven if the situation arose

Only actual staff that I can think of that have any overlap with the two clubs is Paul Balsom who is Head of Sports Science at both

But as you said by the time situation arises I have no doubt that the structures at both clubs will have changed a lot anyway, especially if Leuven really start competing they will probably bring in a load of new staff of their own

Scores the first, his endeavour helps lead to the 2nd, beauty of a cross to create the third and helps recycle the ball that leads to the 4th...imagine how good Sowah will be once Beags gets his hands on him!

From that Sowah looks miles better than gray, he'll be coming back in January at that rate 👌
