Did any Leicester fans travel? I want to hear stories about losing out on travel costs because of the postponement

The players had already travelled, if that counts.

Yeah just got back home to Newcastle. Left work early (3:15) quick check on flashscore to confirm Kickoff time. Rocked up at 7:10 to the ground and with all the floodlights off and then realised....

Went to the Rochdale Lincoln game that was about 10 mins down the road. What a load of tripe that was!

The joys of following Leicester ?

My car broke down in the Tyne Tunnel on the way back up to end the perfect night ?

Ironically again knowing the squad that was picked it was stronger (well almost) for the U21s than the FA cup squad.

Not in the spirit of the tournament and a kick in the gonads for our actual U21s development lads who have been and were again being dropped. IMO

I wonder how many fans we'd actually take to Wembley if we get to the final. I'm one of those people who believe we shouldn't be anywhere near the competition (or at least shouldn't play any over-age players, but another trip to Wembley would be incredibly tempting - even if it is to see our youngsters (and Benalouane) play against the likes of Yeovil or Luton!

What was the team as i did not see it published?

I did notice that Chelsea's team that beat Portsmouth contained NO overage players and the avg age ot their team selected was <20 years old, which is exactly in "the spirit" of the competiton.

With both their goals scored by a Belgian under-21 international. Seems contrary to the "spirit" of B-Teams being entered to help nurture future England players to me...

All these excuses were always just a front to test the water for entering B Teams into the Football League. The competition is now a complete farce, and the attendances reflect that.

I must admit that I wasn't actually aware that the stated aim of including U21 teams was to help nurture future England players.

Would make sense if that was that case but i thought the primary intention was simply to provide a challenging opportunity for U21 players, irrespective of nationality (ie Goerge Thomas, Alex Pascanu, Daniel Iversen, Admiral Muskwe, Josh Eppiah etc...),

(PS  quick check indicates 9 of Chelsea's U21 starting line-up were UK nationals/qualified, which is a pretty high % compared to most clubs U21s)
