Like the optimism but it isn't just from the games this season. There was enough evidence last season to suggest that he wasn't up to it.

I really wish the situation was different but he just isn't a manager and he doesn't cut it at this level in management. Just hope we pull the trigger sooner rather than later.

Its for sure tending to edge that way.

Performance for me today was just horrible, i cannot understand from the previous games this season why must he continue with 442 when its obvious to everyone it just isnt working.. Maybe the new manager will read FT and pick up a few tips :D

The sad part for me is when he does get sacked, we will lose a great coach... but its looking more and more likely each game.

Very lucky today to come away with a point. If i was a Bournemouth supporter i would feel robbed.

Said it in the match thread but the number of half time substitutions he makes tells it's own story for me. He just seems to be blagging his way through and hoping for the best.

After today I feel he’s got to go. Who would come in instead though?

And don’t say Pearson.

Anyone tbh - tuchels available, some quality manager's at smaller clubs on the continent. At this rate I'd even take Megson back, at least he knew that something other than 4-4-****ing-2 exists

Not sure I'd want him as an assistant anymore either. We need a new coaching team with new ideas, and no biases or favouritism for club servants and title winners.

I do think this is the correct view actually.

Time to let go of the past and get these players playing for someone with no previous ties who can judge them all on individual merit, from scratch.

Tuchel is very probably going to Bayern.

Picking points up away from home last season was something we really struggled with. If you look at our home results, they arent really a shock. Should have at least got a point out of the Liverpool game though.

What is worrying is how we are playing. Both our style of play and tactics have been awful. We are dull and predictable.

I honestly believe the club now needs a new lease of life from a new management team. I currently cant see where things will change. Shakespeare is clearly a very good coach but I question his managerial abilities.

On paper we have a very competitive squad albeit thin on the ground in central midfield. The likes of Maguire, Mahrez, Gray, Iborra and Iheancho are wasted at a club thats footballing 'style' is to smash it forward.

It's comments like this that make those that want a change look stupid...

The whole reason that people want Shakespeare out is the blatant lack of any form of imagination, ambition and tactical nouse.

Not for me he's tactically Inept if you ask me. Can he not see week in week out we are playing turgid hoofball. If you look at the attacking players we have got we should be able to play better quality football it's like watching Wimbledon or Cambridge of old.

Megson played both 4-3-3 and 4-4-2 during his time here, that's a whole 100% more imagination and tactical nouse than Shakespeare is showing.

Wouldn't want Megson, but compared to Shakespeare he's a veritable tactical genius.

For me it's a very simple question: can you see the club progressing with him in charge? For me the answer is absolutely not.

Sorry Craig but you were a sentimental appointment in the first place.

It wasn't a sentimental appointment. It was our owners choosing player appeasement as any other choice might have been anarchy and our relegation at that time.

That's not true.

He was given the gig after we'd avoided relegation.
