Elaborate pitch designs banned

It wont be long before the PL adopts more of the UEFA match rules that strangle individuality to satisfy the advertisers who's money goes to the players, in transfer fees and the pay for UEFA Executives.

UEFA's secret strap-line  - **** the Fans (for all their worth)

Haha People will literally get upset about anything these days... Who cares what the pitch design looks like it's the football that's played on it that matters.

It's not the pitch designs themselves it's their need to even outlaw it and to continually interfere with the game to justify their existence and to pander to advertisers.

It wasn't a problem that needed ruling on.

I guarantee that if a EUFA Europa or Champions League advertiser had come up with it to they would be falling over themselves to accept it.

This was announced at the back end of last season. Remember them pointing out that why our designs got more elaborate

We should welcome this, it makes it easier for linos to get their offside calls right.

We've had perfectly horizontal lines before, Wouldn't stop the officials ****ing up, Maybe decrease it slightly at best. The vardy goal against Bournemouth still would've probably been wrongly rulled out with normal lines

Correct...We finished last season home to Bournemouth with the  best ever.....our club crest cut into the centre circle....looked great on tv but as pointed out didn't make the team play better ?

This isn't being done to help referee decisions, they've basically got no option but to enforce this because referees are increasingly using it as a stupid excuse to pass the blame

Maybe they should ban advertisement boards which are distracting or those god awful hideous purple sponsor badges on our kit. Heck they should ban huddersfield/newcastle/stoke/southampton/brighton/westbrom home kits for being absolutely  dog shite (could toss in a few others as well).

Orrr maybe they should work on having better refs with better tech.

Watch in a few years time grass sponsors will be allowed so long as prem league/Fa get their cut.

Our groundsmen should try to get away with making the lines slightly askew in some places to help out with those Jamie Vardy runs behind the back line. :D
