Well this smells all a bit surprisingly encouraging.

Perhaps we should have a thread about other surprisingly encouraging smells?

Yep -  could be a good thread.  May be after the UKP150 'ticket and curry' offer match ??

It's like getting a new pair of shoes and deciding whether to just go for it or keep them safe at home and shiny and new. Iheanacho just went for it and stepped in a dogshit in the first outing, it's a lottery

Yes, you're right. I just got the feeling there was a bit of desperation to get him bloodied before we'd had the time to get him up to full fitness, and I'm concerned the same thing might happen with Silva (if he's truly signed). Up till now he's been maintaining his fitness but not in the more full-on way with the squad, and with the fitness/injury problems we've had so far I'm almost expecting another with every turn of events.

Oh god hope this is true we need him so much

No pressure then ..........

from what I have seen of him, he looks a decent enough player but he isn't going to have the same effect as NG did.

You mean help turn us into a Premier League winning team.

I would take a few degrees below that at the moment. He only has to offer more than Andy King currently to improve the squad.

Neil Moxley who wrote the article used to be the Midlands correspondent for the Mail i believe, and used to have a decent relationship with us, so there may be some truth in this. That said, unless John Percy says anything I'm believing nothing.

After all the hype regarding this ridiculous situation even if he gets clearance to play I have every faith that Shakespeare wont play him.  He will be like Iborra and sit comfortably on the bench whilst Ndidi struggles to run our midfield and Kingy passes it sideways and backwards.  That said, King was perhaps, our best player second half yesterday which proves how shite we were.

When you think you have a gas leak, but it turns out to be a decomposing dead mouse that your cat has left under the sofa.

...................Iborra

Albrighton................Chilwell

Mahrez.........Silva..........Gray

...........Nacho.........Vardy

I genuinely think if we drop Kasper and don't field a keeper at all our midfield will look a lot better.

Awesome hopefully will be available for the game on Saturday

No chance.

Not played for 3 weeks as well as being injured when we were trying to sign him, not been allowed to train on the pitch with the lads either.
