 i take your point walshy and perhaps didn't phrase this as well as I might. My point is this though. There's some indication that the delayed submission was a consequence of a delay in receiving the paperwork from Portugal. The fa has openly supported our cause from what I believe and I understand don't believe us to be at fault. We've not made a fuss in public but opted instead to get on with things behind the scenes and, hopefully pursued things in a way which has secured the outcome we've been after. No official announcement yet but fingers crossed things look promising. We can argue the toss over whether we should have signed him earlier in the transfer window of course but that's another issue.

I'm not entirely sure the reliability of The Mirror, however for some reason I have a distant memory of them being the first to report we had signed Nugent all those moons ago. No idea why I have that recorded in my memory when I struggle to know where my house keys are on a daily basis?!

 

If true this is news to make any city fan's senses tingle with excitement.

I'm inclined to think it's true. I don't think FIFA gives a **** about Leicester but having an innocent player effectively banned from football for almost 4 months is unpalatable for all involved.

It should be Cheese receiving a letter saying 'I have your inflatable dinosaur'. After a long journey, he knocks on a door only for it to be passed to him by a mysterious set of hands 'I hear you've been looking for this' the person says. Cue the camera zoom out to both parties as Cheese says 'Thanks Adrien Silva' whilst Silva is draped in a City shirt and scarf.
