First, it's not really clear if it has been rejected or not. All the reports going around come from the same source "someone close to the player".

I have yet to see anything that doesn't go back to record or a bola.

If, indeed, they rejected it, I expect that it's because it was finalized after the deadline ended, and therefore he cannot play in the Premier League.
