I'm not buying into this crap, it's a news company just taking advantage of the time frames :) this source close to the player won't exist :) announce silva!

as soon as i saw that ****er on sky sports transfer deadline day running around with that paper at the training ground  i knew we would **** this up .

Supposedly he did that run 6 times too. Probably from where silva was having his medical to the fax machine or something like that. If they'd put the two events in the same room that would've saved 15 minutes or so. But then we shouldn't expect much from a massively rich premier league team eh ??

Yeah .... er..... just like having a new signing.

The point being is that Silva is a Leicester player, so we'll just have to be patient for his debut!

We still have an appeals process so all is not lost yet!

Was the guy that is ultimately responsible for signing off deals actually there on deadline day? If not why not?

Also.....IF it has been rejected then the chances are it's because we didn't finish it properly and in time, this is simply down to the club not signing the playing until the DD deal went through. So what if we had both we off loaded a couple anyway

so yes the people responsible should go (if it's not gone through)

Hope it didn't take 6 years for the decisionlol

no, but it was poorly handled, from what I read. Even if Nice bungled the thing pretty badly, which was why FIFA rejected it. I don't think it's comparable with Adrien's deal.

He's in charge of that department so he's accountable. If him or his team are not up to scratch its his fault.

If Rudkin's responsible for the person who screwed up, who's responsible for Rudkin?

We're good at taking our time, I know. Robins said he was surprised by how long it took us to complete the George Thomas deal, so maybe it's not only fans who see this. But if the deal has fallen through, the problem could run deeper than the efficiency of a single department.

When you sell a key player and look to replace him, you make sure the replacement is lined up. If you're in the position of doing both on the same day, the incoming player and his fee should really be prioritised ahead of the outgoing player. A club ambitious enough to prioritise short-term on-field success over short-term financial gain would, you'd imagine, do this.

It'd worry me if we routinely did these things the other way round, because it would say a lot about the way the club is being run, and where the priorities lie.

Of course, the problem could yet be fixed. Or it might turn out that we did prioritise Silva, and did nothing wrong whatsoever, in spite of the late registration. And we'll look as daft for rushing to conclusions as those who were celebrating Silva's arrival before the verdict was delivered.

Hope you're right. What's you're feeling about things from you're end?
