FA Cup 2017-18

I couldn't. But anyhow does the rule say to observe the flight of the ball if undecided by observing the touch? I don't know what the rule is as I've never looked at them.

Maybe it's time football introduced snicko and hot spot like cricket. Another giveaway was that Dowell looked very sheepish. Riyad's acting was far more convincing.

Given Liverpool put four past them in August, yes.

Well that's what I thought, so just checking the stat wasn't complete bullshit.

Didn't we draw 6-6 with them in the 50's or something?

Thought the young lad Brereton looked a Vardy replacement in the making. Quick, deceptively strong, great runs and a nuisance. Knew he was starting to catch bigger clubs attention, after that will certainly have caught a few more. We don't seem to have a vardy-esque type replacement, do much worse than slapping a wedge down for this lad.

Always knew Moss was a Forest fan since he sent Schmeichel off for throwing the ball back to to the halfway line, and all of the fvckery in our matches he's officiated since. Today confirms it.

Shows how far behind us Forest are that I'm not angry at that. I'd normally be absolutely gutted for Forest to go and pull off a win like that but this time I'm looking at it as more enjoyable that Arsenal have been binned out.

Same goes for me.

Thought it'd be automatic to root against Forest, but I was happier to see Arsenal out.

Difference is that Gunners could win the Cup, Forest can't.

Any rivalry we had in the past with Forest I think is long gone for me, they're irrelevant to us now. I was actually rooting for them like I would for any lower league side. Well apart from Coventry maybe. Still like to have a good laugh at them.

Newport are having a very good period, after the threat of last season's struggles and possibly even distinction if they were relegated.

Theirs and Yeovil's finances will be boosted massively, particularly if they're on television.
