fuchsntf Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 ...........Schmeichel simpson Maguire Drago Chilwell ..............Iborra.............. james.................Ndidi Mahrez/Gray Vardy..............Nacho/Slimani. Give the new boys and young uns the job, with a different formation. Mix it, and not just for one game.... Cs to show he can intigrate players while training the squad to play with different permatations. or by December, they will be playing to 18,000, with no plans needed to extend stadium.
Spiritwalker Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 My main concern is that we average about 35% possession with 60% pass completion, WBrom average 35% possession with 60% pass completion. What's going to happen to the ball for the remaining 30% ?

reynard Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 We all know what's going to happen. 4-4-2 with King and Ndidi in midfield. Zero attacking intent and a scrappy 1-0 to them. We have not too far short of 100 million of so-called talent not in the team either because they're not good enough or because the manager doesn't knwo how to play them. What happened to playing on the front foot which Shakespeare goes on about but fails to ever deliver. If we lost this playing the way we have done most of the season he should go. If we win or play with some style and intent then maybe keep him on for a bit. We really need three points.

Pete from the USA Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 N'didi seemed much more solid when Iborra was on the pitch shouting instructions. How about this?: Kasper Simpson Morgan Maguire Fuchs Mahrez Iborra N'didi Gray Vardy Iheanacho Albrighton and Okazaki in if defense is getting overrun.

Lestoh1 Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 I actually reckon west brom are not half as bad as theyre made out to be. Yes they will be solid and defensively responsible but theyll also fancy beating us and will test us on set pieces and with decent deliveries. At least they have a style of play and philosophy. Yeah it might look awkward but they know what theyre doing
dynamark Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 Im with Pete USA team Huth when fit that should do for the next three games
Eagle10 Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 It is just my opinion, but I don't think Iheanacho deserves to be picked ahead of Slimani. I mean he has done nothing since he joined the club, Slimani has the best goals per minute of all strikers, but I guess Iheanacho might fit the 10 role better so I get it if he is selected. But I agree that something has to change and fast, otherwise this is going to be a very long season.
Callabinho Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 It will be a comfortable win for them, we’re a shambles at present and they’re, big, nasty and organised.... everything we don’t need at this time.
vanity Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 If we are just going to lump it forward like last game due to our MF failings, give me a 4-3-3 with Vardy, Iheanacho, and Musa up top.

biggs Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 Our best player on the ball Mahrez needs to have the ball. This team has no one like him....give him a go in the middle behind Vardy. Move on from 4-4-2.

Grebfromgrebland Posted 5 October 2017 Posted 5 October 2017 Looking at West Brom signings, they look to be building a team that can play good football. It's going to be a tough evening for our boys, I know we're at home but hopefully we can snatch a draw. One of our problems is that anyone who wanted to leave regrets staying and anyone who's come in regrets coming. Probably.

Move on from 4-4-2. 80% want to bench him, then realize that without him there is 0 creativity, then forget it and want to bench him again. I prefer him on the wing. With a FB or at least a midfield support if possible.

Quite simply, he's just better with the ball at his feet, we have too many players who treat the ball like a hot potato or can't control it brilliantly. It's harsh on Slim, I've stood up for him a lot but at the minute that's the way I think we need to go.

Not seen anything about an injury but tend to avoid most city reports at the moment.
