Finnegan Posted 9 October 2017 Posted 9 October 2017 If all fit: Kasper Simpson Maguire Morgan Fuchs Albrighton Iborra Ndidi Mahrez Iheanacho Vardy
urban.spaceman Posted 9 October 2017 Posted 9 October 2017 Is Silva available for this match? I'll show myself out

I'll show myself out I believe he'll be selected to sit amongst the crowd, fairly close to Rudkin (to make Rudders feel comfortable with his transfer performance) until he's considered ready....which will probably sometime in the first few months of the new year
foxfan92 Posted 9 October 2017 Posted 9 October 2017 If N'didi is injured for this match I'd be tempted to field something like this:- Kasper Dragovic Maguire Big Wes Mahrez Ibora Amartey Albrighton King Vardy Slimani/ Iheanacho I am a big fan of Simpson and Fuchs but I feel like a middle 2 of Ibora and either King or Amartey is a scary thought. Without N'didi I feel we need a midfield 3 and King can do the job Shinji does, while doing his defensive duties too. I wouldn't be too opposed to swapping Shinji for King either since Shinji would help out in midfield and if we kept 2 other forwards on the pitch we'd be forcing Pulis to think defensively even more than he would too anyway.

Very similar to what I'd play if Ndidi is injured. Mahrez would be a disaster at RWB though Albrighton on the right, Chilwell/Fuchs on the left, and Mahrez for King in the free role.
winteriscoming Posted 9 October 2017 Posted 9 October 2017 Kasper Morgan maguire dragovic Albrighton. Chilwell. Ndidi. Iborra. Mahrez. vardy. Inehecho

TheLittleBigMan Posted 9 October 2017 Posted 9 October 2017 I think we should try a different formation.
Ric Flair Posted 10 October 2017 Posted 10 October 2017 It's got to be 3-4-1-2 for this or 3-4-3 either way it's high time we changed things and there's various options. Iheanacho has to be given a run of games too, what's the fcukin point otherwise and whilst Okazaki's form remains erratic we can afford to leave him as an option off the bench if we aren't pressing enough. I'd also like to see Dragovic in the team, he's got great composure on the ball, like Maguire and is positionally very good from the games I've ever seen him play. We need more players in the team who are comfortable on the ball. If Ndidi is injured then Amartey comes in and King can drop out for Iborra, he's just not good enough. It's time to shake things up Craig and show the squad who's in charge. Schmeichel Dragovic Morgan Maguire Fuchs Ndidi/Amartey Iborra Albrighton Mahrez Iheanacho Vardy The beauty of this is we have Chilwell as an option at LWB, Gray or Okazaki can replace Mahrez if he's ineffective or Riyad and Gray can go either side of Vardy/Iheanacho or even Slimani and drop King or another CM in to a 3. Fuchs can also play the LCB role. The only player who is possibly surplus to requirements in his formation is Danny Simpson, but you never know in a back 3 he's possibly good enough. But there's absolutely no place for him at RWB, where as Fuchs I think is better as a wing back right now for end product from crosses than Chilwell. I'd be fine with Chilwell there though given the protection of an extra CB will help his game grow, but I think he's injured anyway.

Effectively we would have almost 4 wingers on the pitch. Might just be the key to creating chances. Something we are lacking ATM. shakey wouldn't dare try that.
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 October 2017 Posted 11 October 2017 I see Kante is linked to PSG this morning for c.90 million. Three days before we could conceivably start with a midfield pairing of Iborra and Amartey. Edit....King/Amartey Edit.....King/Iborra Good God...
les-tah Posted 11 October 2017 Posted 11 October 2017 if anyone thinks we are playing anything other than 442 then you are very very very silly also if you think iborra will start ahead of King your again very very silly.
