Bob Weasel Fox Posted 2 October 2017 Posted 2 October 2017 Doesn’t matter what formation we play in this one, we just need to actually play football and better than we have been be the better team City #VoteBob
Lovejoy Posted 2 October 2017 Posted 2 October 2017 It's about time we beat Albion at home. A win of any sort will do the team wonders. Playing well and without fear would be preferential.
Monsell1976 Posted 2 October 2017 Posted 2 October 2017 I think I'd take a performance that looked positive, organised, and look like we know what we are doing, and see a game plan, couldn't give a **** about the result, hope is what I need to see.

somebum Posted 2 October 2017 Posted 2 October 2017 Snorefest but what we will be seeing are the two most dire uninspiring teams in the league so it will be a great advert for how not to play the game. And to think just a year and a half ago we were inspiring millions of people around the world to believe that anything is possible Only Leicester

justfoxes Posted 2 October 2017 Posted 2 October 2017 A huge game for Shakespeare I think if we lose this and performances of late doesn’t fair we’ll for him then I think then the owners will have had enough and he’s gone, he needs to stop being loyal to King thinking he’s our answer in midfield and replace him with Iborra and sort the squad out getting them playing with passion and being fearless again ! my team would be kasper simpson Maguire Morgan Fuchs Mahrez Iborra Ndidi Gray Slimani Vardy

Thing is, I saw hope in the Arsenal game. We lost, and Shakey has reverted to a negative style since, possibly as a reaction to a very open game. But if we play badly and win, we're still papering over the cracks of an inevitable regression and Shakespeare won't learn from his mistakes (not that he should need this many chances to anyway). So we need a performance and a win. Still, I'd rather we just sacked him now instead of prolonging the pain.
Wymsey Posted 2 October 2017 Posted 2 October 2017 Reckon McAuley or Evans will score. But we'll still win.

I've been watching City since the sixties and the shit we're playing is as bad as anything I saw under the likes of Pleat and McLintock. Come on Buce. We are waaay more entertaining than the McClintock days and Pleat makes me sick. I understand you're frustrated but we've shown "some" good football this season. On 30/09/2017 at 19:05, Koke said: We havent beaten these at home since 1994. At their place we've been prolific winners in recent seasons but at home we never beat them. Results from previous years mean sweet FA. We'll beat them, I have no doubts. 3-1 Mahrez could come in for Albrighton, Iborra starts over Kingy but maybe we'll have Silva in Blue by then.

Really don't want the manager merry go round, but he is so out of his depth, now is the time for change. We need an experienced manager, with the ability to play more than one way, and with the squad, we have the qualities, if played to their strengths ( not 4-4-2), to finish mid table. It's a shame for Shakespeare, but from a no 2, to a premier league manager is to big a step, should have an old experienced head as his no 2 The powers that be have performed poorly since the title win, the next appointment needs to see a vast improvement, and a talented manager.

Guest MattP Posted 2 October 2017 Posted 2 October 2017 Aren't we already relegated after the "must win" game we drew at Bournemouth?

KingKoala Posted 2 October 2017 Posted 2 October 2017 This is the sort of game Shinji will not be effective going forward, but then not sure what will.

Shakespeare will be keen on this one, with his former links at WBA. Both Shakey and Appleton. Battle of the counters and who can get the lowest possession (answer, Row Z) We concede from a set piece early, start to come back, get an equalizer and then lose in the last 5 mins to a ball down the middle to Rondon who pushes Harry out the way.... or even worse, Yacob, Morrison (he always plays well against us) or McClean grab the winner.... wait.... Berahino hasn't scored for 18 months and just missed a pen. Definitely lump on him to score....
mozartfox Posted 3 October 2017 Posted 3 October 2017 The Samaritans are busing in 100's of additional advisers from all over the Country to cope with the anticipated FT melt down. This weekend is going to be extremely challenging.
Stadt Posted 3 October 2017 Posted 3 October 2017 We're all expecting to lose at home to West Brom, I feel so apathetic about it too. Last season I was genuinely angry after every shite loss but now I dunno, I feel empty? Wining the league was probably the best and worst thing ever to happen to us.
dynamark Posted 3 October 2017 Posted 3 October 2017 Cannot play albrighton in front of mahrez .Just punting balls in the general direction of vardy will not do it.Shinzi I'm feeling will be more effective in the last 20 minutes rather than a starter.Nacho looks like he can actually trap and keep a ball and stay standing up. Nacho and Mahrez for Allbrighton and Shinzi. If gray gets a start someone needs to give him a huge kick up the backside because his attitude appears to be poor not getting involved not enough going on off the ball and not getting stuck into the game .
daddylonglegs Posted 3 October 2017 Posted 3 October 2017 I know this is unrealistic but I'd really love us to try this: Schmeichel Simpson Morgan Maguire Fuchs Albrighton King Ndidi Mahrez Okazaki Vardy
dynamark Posted 3 October 2017 Posted 3 October 2017 No you are living in a dream world never going to happen . More chance of the pope being a catholic . Whats happening with Huth could do with him back for calamity Maguire.
