Tuna Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 So FIFA have rejected our request for the Silva transfer to be formalized. What a massive balls up by the football club. This cannot be allowed to pass without comment or punishment by the football club. It will almost surely have cost us millions whilst humiliating LCFC and the player concerned and put our future in the premier league at risk by significantly weakening an already weak midfield by selling Drinkwater without replacement. We'll probably now get a disillousioned, unfit and fed up player now in January who may miss the world cup. I was always told if you arrive for a meeting 20 minutes late it's for a genuine reason. 5 minutes late looks like you cannot be arsed. 14 seconds late is just gross negligence and unforgivable. If we were waiting for Drinkwater to go to Chelsea before completing the signing, why ??? We brought Silva over from Portugal, we were surely intending to complete the deal regardless otherwise we were wasting his time. Rudkin is the DOF and is ultimately responsible for transfer cock ups. Responsibility falls on the man in charge just as it will for Shakey if the results are poor. Terry Robinson went for supposed lack of or mediocre transfer dealings in 14/15, Rudkin should go as well. It's Shakey I feel sorry for because he's been massively let down.
Ric Flair Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 Would someone not have needed sacking if FIFA had allowed it to go through today?
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 Recruitment wise the club is a smambles, besides Harry Maguire and Ndidi none of our other signings since we won the Prem even start, despite the multi millions spent, we should of improved the side instead we've stood still, the squad may be stronger overall but the first 11 is weaker, quite pathetic.
Fox92 Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 Club is a shambles. Which has always been my worry with managers.... For instance, if we sack Shakespeare then does anybody on the board have football knowledge to know who to go for as next manager?

Soar Fox Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 The whole club is a shambles, from the staff at the ticket office, the club shop to the directors and whoever is in charge of recruitment. Everything good that we started to build since 2011 when Sven went is slowly falling apart. We have spent close to £150 million in the past couple of years yet our best players are from our championship days. We'll have Andy King starting in midfield now who wasn't even good enough to start in our championship winning since in 2013/14. We are constantly picking up niggly injuries and players taking ages to recover. Are we interested in sports science anymore? The whole club needs sorting out from top to bottom.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 Fvcking shambles even though FIFA are a bunch of corrupt twats.
Guest MattP Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 Nothing more really needs to be said, off the pitch the club are a complete shambles and no other club would get themselves into this position.

Would have needed yes but getting away with it by the skin of our teeth means it would have been brushed under the carpet. This now shines the spotlight on it even more than before and surely there can only be so much responsibility shifting behind the scenes before the owners toughen up and sack someone for losing them millions of pounds. Doubt it will be our DOF though he's as slippery as they come.
Soar Fox Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 Will this have an effect when we try to sign future players? If I was a footballer and Leicester came in for me I'd be very wary about signing for them.

foxy boxing Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 what you are saying is somebody needs to be the scapegoat and take the rap!. it needs to be the person who actually cocked up and not someone innocent who works at the club in some capacity and was just trying to do their everyday job!
TheUltimateWinner Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 What a mess If somehow someone is still in a job after all of this then we deserve all we get tbh
Callabinho Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 Sack the lot. Get Tommy Tuchel in and some German efficiency and save what remains of this car crash of a season!
GaelicFox Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 Ticket office staff need to go the broadband was 14 seconds slow because they released tickets at same time deadline day closed
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 Remember when we were in L1 and the Champ and everyone said "it's a Premier league club behind the scenes just playing in the lower leagues". It's inverted in the last few years.
alanf0x Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 Why are people continuing to blame FIFA?! If Leicester had met the deadline, no problem...

I never thought I'd see Andy King and look forward in the same sentence. Our midfield is fvcked. A few weeks in and I'm already bored of watching us go backwards and sideways. I'd have hope for Iborra but he'll probably just not get picked.

TrentFox Posted 4 October 2017 Posted 4 October 2017 Fabulous! A witch-hunt thread. I'm heading down to the KP right now with a pitchfork and woe betide anyone that gets in my way.
