It's Groundhog Day, 2 out of 3 previous seasons we have battled relegation, and a freak season in between, and virtually the same players, and faces around the management and starting 11.

Without sounding arrogant as a city fan, we should be better than relegation fodder again, with the success, investment and prize money.

I'm not saying we should be top 6, but we should be comfortable mid table, and leave the relegation battles to the newly promoted sides.

Nothing is a given in football, but on the playing side of things, we have been so naive and wasteful of the opportunity winning the league gave us.

Poor running of the club and players has been shocking, and lessons don't appear to being learnt.

Don't buy into the injuries, and teams we have played excuse, with the investment, we should be capable of shocking the big boys every now and then, and never be light on quality in certain positions, especially after loaning millions of pounds worth of players out, or not using the millions of pounds worth of players, and still playing players who are not good enough or out of form.

The owners should be searching for answers as to why we are so poor, and removing those who have and continue to perform poorly in their roles, and bring in professional experienced people, as currently we look amateurish.

That's how my rants see's it anyway

Totally agree with you. I know it's not all about money, but we have  £70 million worth of strikers who can't get in the team!!! Nearly £80m if you count Ulloa. How many other teams outside the top 6 can say that. Astonishing really. We should be competitive with anyone with that kind of investment.

People need to chill out a little. We're in our natural place and some seasons we survive and others we don't and we get relegated.

At least this season won't be boring and we might see some good football played by the opposition. Which'll be nice.

Never beat these at home and only a win will get us out the bottom 3 , so I predict a draw which is almost like a loss in our position!

Winning the title was never going to turn us into a bona fide Big Boy, but good Lord, if there’s one thing you’d think it would promise it’s a few seasons of not worrying about the bottom of the table.

We nonetheless managed to get ourselves into a scrap to stay up within something like 7 fvcking months of lifting the trophy, and you wouldn’t be surprised if we’re doing the same this season given our start.

Us all over.

The club at the moment is a joke top to bottom. Anything less than a win and it's another failure for Shakey. If we lose this and then at Swansea next week, then it's bye bye everyone from Rudkin down.

I'm hoping we have it in us to go and take 4 points min.

It won't be though.

Rudkin is bulletproof and his 'team'.

I fully expect Shakespeare to go, personally his days are numbered (Don't think he'll be going imminently, but within the next couple of months at some point) however no-one else will go, which is an absolute joke because people above Shakespeare need to go before him, that's not saying Shakespeare is not at fault because he is but others must go now.

There is no justification for sacking Shakespeare without those above him.

Our natural position 3 years ago, no escaping it, we have been miss managed, with the investment and progression that we should be seeing, our natural position should be around the stoke mark, comfortably mid table.

Other teams around our size could only dream of having owners like ours, and the spending power, if things had been run properly below the owners, we should be looking up the table, not looking over our shoulders at the drop.

With our pay structure now, relegation would ruin us, don't get me wrong as a fan, I like the championship, but the club can't afford to be there.

Does she even exist nowadays?

Yes, and she’s got a premier league medal, and she’s  served the club longer than any of these players

The club has got bone idle since the glory of winning the title in my opinion. Sloppy, sloppy recruitment and management. The majority of us wanted a fresh start in the summer, we were crying out for it. I hope that we can get some sort of form going.
