Guest Col city fan Posted 14 October 2017 Posted 14 October 2017 Like in the scoreline thread, gonna go against the grain and say I expect a win. I think it's gonna be the Mahrez/Vardy show

lifted*fox Posted 14 October 2017 Posted 14 October 2017 We will lose on Monday night and it'll further go to prove how severely mismanaged this club has been from the top down since our PL win. We've been absolutely bobbins for months and months, occasionally papered over by the odd spirited win. We look like one of the worst sides in the league and unless something drastically changes we will go down. I just wish I'd stuck more than £10 on at 18/1.
Corky Posted 14 October 2017 Posted 14 October 2017 I do think we'll turn it around, just under a different manager. Depends when that happens though.

The simple fact we're stating this surely says alot about mentality or certainly points towards the team/management not putting themselves under enough pressure to perform from the get go. Set standards abit higher, aim abit higher, show some fecking ambition (Like building on our title win) and we might not need to perform all of sudden when the pressure of dropping into the relegation zone happens (Because hopefully it won't happen). It's the Leicester way as long as I can remember we've won when we shouldn't have and lost when we shouldn't have, that's how we won the league. This is why no matter how odds on we are to win something I never believe it until it happens and mostly it doesn't. Give us a shit ref or a faking oppo player and up we get including the fans as that's when they're the noisiest.
lgfualol Posted 14 October 2017 Posted 14 October 2017 We'll start performing once Shakespeare gets the sack and the players' ego get threatened. Rinse and repeat until we have a clear out around the club.
Larry_LCFC Posted 14 October 2017 Posted 14 October 2017 Anything but a convincing win with good performance and Shakespeare is done in my eyes. We cannot keep making the same mistakes and let him get away with it. Last chance saloon shakey.

splinterdream Posted 14 October 2017 Posted 14 October 2017 I always thought we'd pull it out of the bag last season but more worried this year. Relying on King and James with management putting Iborra in a midfield 2 I think we could be in trouble. It feels like the team is a mess and the rest of the league is a lot stronger, I hope I'm wrong
fuchsntf Posted 14 October 2017 Posted 14 October 2017 So ..!!! We are now all agreed then. Our season starts on Monday night then..??? Fanatics and believers unite...This is when we get our team back...

GaelicFox Posted 14 October 2017 Posted 14 October 2017 Where have you been we have lost most of half a season under shakey the pressure was on lats season after spurs last season there is no way he should have got the job we need a change and need it quick his interviews are a bit cringe now , he knows he isn’t a premier league manager and trying to convince himself at this stage

Bazly Posted 14 October 2017 Posted 14 October 2017 The odds on relegation are no longer worth a consolation punt.

reynard Posted 14 October 2017 Posted 14 October 2017 Simply a must win game. We now effectively have just 23 matches left to get 35 more points for safety. So that's really winning every other match left. I've ignored the 8 matches against the big 6 in which we can mostly expect 0 points. if the players were nervous last match now they are in the bottom 3 I dread to think what they will be like.
