You get the feeling he’s just saying it because he thinks that’s what ‘true football fans’ want to hear given his influential position on MOTD. Managers get sacked everyday at every level of the game. Just like in real life. We aren’t ruining football and football will never die. People just like to be big drama queens. We are rectifying a mistake early rather than wait for the inevitable loitering around the relegation zone at Christmas.
Buzzell Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 I'm really hoping one of you guys is at Morrisons now to see if Ancelotti is popping in to do his weekly shop
Countryfox Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Was watching us lose to Florist this morning behind closed doors .. now gone !! Wow !! All the smart money going on Rafa ... not happy and would like to come ...
whoareyaaa Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Unlucky to the bloke, has played a big part here over the years and is unfortunate to see him go like this Step forward...
Guest LCFC_World Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Until it's confirmed by the club it might not be true. Does Feb 2015 ring a bell?...

As a manager though he's favoured the old guard far too much in a system that is becoming predictable to other teams. Millions of pounds have been spent on talent that is barely getting a look in along with a system that fit's in none of them. Tactically suspect especially since safety was guaranteed at the end of last season, it just hasn't got any better. At least now a manager has a full transfer window and a decent chunk of the season to start freshening up our side. He’s had our respect. Hes made his fortune for 4 months work, the 2nd half of which has been piss poor. Lets move on.
RowlattsFox Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 It won't be anyone who is working, I'm pretty sure of that. I get the impression weren't overly keen on him having the job full time but felt obliged, waited for the first chance and they've got rid. Shakey has been let let down by the recruitment team, but if he has had any say on transfer targets then he deserves to go. We need a change of style and someone who is going to challenge the dressing room. I think it's got big Sam written all over it unfortunately though.

More chance of peppa pig managing us, everything else I agree with.
midland_red Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 The Mail was the first paper to break the news about CRs departure, so Ive no doubt its correct. Good that the owners have moved swiftly this time. But it isn’t enough - whoever bears the responsibility for our transfer fiasco has got to go to.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Look Pearson would be a decent D o F to replace Rudders. Do not want him as manager again. His first move would be to hire Shakey as the ****ing coach ffs.

Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Whilst I think this is the right decision for the club, you've also got to feel for Shakespeare whose tenure undoubtedly was impacted adversely by the incompetence of the dickheads above him. They too bear responsibility Nevertheless, the writing was on the wall with the negative mindset we seemed to approach every game and slow adaptation to what was happening in games with tactics and substitutions. Let's hope we go with the right person this time. Fingers crossed. We have sufficient time to still make the season a success at this time so the decision timing was right at least

That aside his management and decision making with what he has got has been sacking material. Thats is why he has gone, and thats why the majority are in favour.

Simi Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 So Rudkin delivered the bullet and the players found out via Mail website. We are vile.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Scenes when Rudkin is announced as caretaker manager
foxer Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Wow I didn't see that coming yet. Pretty gutted as I really wanted him to succeed. Is it now a harder job than we've had in a long time because we're not going to have shakey there as our excellent and much loved number two to hold everyone together through the turmoil. We had better have an excellent replacement lined up otherwise this is a ridiculous decision.
