Not too early, should have got the job, doing well as our coach. Laughing starts when it becomes obvious we haven't got a clue who to appoint.
Brooksy Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Anyone think the delay is an announcement is because we've had a replacement lined up for some time and they're sorting it now. Nah me neither
foxinsocks Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 I have sorted my cv out - I will just email it before any deadline

Nah me neither last time they had nothing lined up - why would it be different this time... same folk running the club
murphy Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Feel pretty sad for Craig. He had us playing again for a little while last year. We owe him a debt of grattitude for saving us last year and for all our achievements and league titles of recent times. Without him we would definitely be playing Championship football this year. I hope the morons that have been slagging him off (as opposed to criticising him) are feeling a bit of shame today. Perhaps it is right for him to go as things have not got going this year, although I thought he would get a bit longer.
midland_red Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Story now running in The Guardian with no ref to the Mail story. Dont know whether they have independent confirmation
Corky Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 The football was dreadful, the results not much better. Last night was the pits. It is the right decision, I think. However, he shouldn't have been appointed on a full-time basis. They took the easy option and now we are left in no-mans land again. The players need to take a look at themselves too- it was heavily rumoured they didn't want Ranieri any more, now another one has gone, hopefully the next one can make the necessary changes to this club to drag it out of the malaise it is in,. Since winning the title, our dealings off the pitch and the performances on it have been utterly shambolic.
lgfualol Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 The players can go **** themselves if they're upset. Personally hope someone comes in and shakes them up. Though, the likes of Vardy and Schmeichel might go to Rudkin and get them sacked if they are not happy with someone serious. **** player power. Sell them all in the summer.
Izzet is God Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Shouldn’t have got the job IMO when Marco Silva was available in the summer. Be interesting to see who we can attract to replace him. Shakey will be known as a great no 2. but obvious he was out of his depth...
hejammy Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 so after 2 hours of the story first breaking, we still have nothing officially, if this IS because they have a replacement lined up and they want to announce it at the same time then I get it. If not.....then the 14 second drama seems so insignificant compared to this abomination and surely signs of bigger problems within the club
Sir Shep Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Well I'm sure he'll great a bumper pay off but there's no way on this green earth that he was good enough at this level. Anyone who thinks we've become entitled since winning the league can do one as well. It's not like I expected champions league football every season but come on, at least giving it a go for 7th/8th wasn't asking too much. The football we had to witness was shocking, the results were poor and the team selections and subs at times were baffling. Good of luck to the guy, I'm sure he'll get another job, maybe as a coach in belguim, but we can move foward and hopefully salvage this season.
Molson Canadian Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 someone please track the chopper and plane.
lgfualol Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Currently editing their video montage for Tim Sherwood's announcement
Brainy Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 The situation was becoming similar to that of Ranieri's last few weeks. Which sadly perhaps does ask the question how hard the players are trying. There was an instant reaction from the start under CS which cannot be seen anymore.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 A lot of people 'in the know' like Jon Percy and Peter Schmechiel on tv last night point to a deeper problem, as does Lineker. Schmechiel was quite clear last night - Rudkin and recruitment are also culpable. If Peter gets it from Kasper, then it seems even more credible.
Fox 4 Life Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Just now, whoareyaaa said: is Appleton on his way as well then? Telegraph said he will take over for Swansea game. Cue a 4 game winning streak and an appointment
Babylon Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 A sacking based on style and performances rather than results particularly?
st albans fox Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 there is no announcement yet because its possible the club weren't expecting the story to leak so quickly ?? who are you expecting to make the announcement ?? the media guys should not know before Shakespeare. therefore its unreasonable for prepared public statements to be available as soon as there is a leak. given that Nigel's 'ghost' sacking, Claudio and now shakey have all leaked, I would be wondering who at the club has a loose tongue. guess it could easily be agents/ their offices.
st albans fox Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 also, could be that those above him didn't like his publically stating that he didn't want DD to be sold but it was done 'over his head'.

You'd think whoever pulled the trigger knows more about how the club is doing besides statistics and results. Twitter stuff like that is probably playing more towrards 'Leicester are an evil club who have snake players and sack all the good guy managers' stuff from last season, baiting retweets and hype
