Jaspa Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Had to happen and the right decisions have to be made from here on in, it was a mistake appointing him as manager in the first place, he never was a manager and we've lost a great coach. Also incredibly predictable, think I predicted him going around November in the same fashion. Get an actual manager in and one that is willing to give 100% for the club and not someone like Allardyce who often leaves clubs a shambles when his time eventually comes up, keep building and growing
lcfcsnow Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 I bet James and Ulloa can't believe their luck.

Swarles Barkley Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Been watching ssn for a while now. This blonde is stunning. More on the story as it develops
Dames Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Thanks for everything but this is absolutely the right call for everyone involved and i’m so relieved that the club are taking action so early on. Lets hope they get the next decision right.
Guest Kopfkino Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Shouldn't have got the job in the first place, willed him to succeed but he clearly wasn't going to so glad he has gone. Thanks for everything Shakey, not one person who has been a part of this journey should be thought bad of. Now to get rid of some of the other buffoonery at the club
Kitchandro Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Good, as long we replace him properly. No point panicking and getting Allardyce. It's early enough in the season to get a positive, progressive manager in. Someone who has a long term vision and isn't just here to keep us up. I will cry if we get Allardyce. I'm not having that bloke tell us we should be grateful to be mid table watching turgid football.

He hasn't been good enough to be our manager. I hope we're moving forward but I fear we're going the other way. The maladministration at the club will make it hard for any manager.
AKCJ Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Really feel for Craig. Ultimately he was given a job he wasn't qualified for. He did his best and had the place rocking for the Sevilla game. A night i'll never forget. "Let loose the dogs of war". He really did. All the best Shakey, I hope this departure hasn't left a bitter taste, would be nice to welcome you back to the KP as a visiting coach/manager to give you a decent send off.

More pathetic stuff from our fans about someone who has been a great servant to the club. Sad it didn't work out and he's been stitched up by Rudkin who I hope also goes. I'd have given him another couple of games, but the owners will have their ear to the ground at the club and things can't have been good for them to act so quickly. All the best Craig... now please god can we do some sodding research this time. Yes agreed. You could see this wasn’t working though. On board with wanting to see Rudkin go.
WilmslowFox Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Not a huge surprise, although I'd expected a decision to be made after next week's games. Timing is unfortunate, as the choice of replacement will be a lot more limited than it would have been in the summer. Likely to be someone whose been sacked by a Championship club or has failed to steer a national team to the World Cup. It would be wrong, I think, to strike a celebratory tone, as Shakey has been a good servant to the club over many years, and he's certainly not been helped by things outside of his control (e.g. Silva), but rolling out the same team in the same formation each week irrespective of the opposition did point towards a lack of tactical awareness. Anyway, I wish him well and hope he lands on his feet.
HighPeakFox Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Cannot say that wasn't decisive. The question is who comes in?

I applaud them again. Bit hear come the inevitable ‘joke club’ remarks from everyone in the media including our very own Gary Linekar calling us inept I see already. Give everyone a week or so to calm down take a time out and realise that this was also the correct decision. Is Lineker one of our very own, the lad's a twat!!

Kinowe Soorie Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Chris Coleman favourite with the bookies. Is there a shit emoji?
dedlock Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 A certain inevitably about this. Whoever had the bright idea that Shakey was a long term option rather than a stopgap should consider their position. The time to change was in the summer. The options are limited now. We needed foresight and planning before the season began.
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Rudkins nose is parked firmly where the sun doesn't shine. Only a matter of time but we need a strong manager first...........guess if hes responsible that won't happen
Izzy Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Football is such a ruthless business these days NEXT!!
ARTY_FOX Posted 17 October 2017 Posted 17 October 2017 Absolute shame it didn't work out for him I think everyone would have loved him to be a success that little bit more after everything he's done and achieved with us but unfortunately he just wasn't up to it. Good luck for the future Craig. Enjoy Belgium.

Matty James is a good footballer that's been devastated by career threatening injuries, doesn't make him a bad player, he kept Drinkwater out of the side in the great escape season, saying a lad that is recovering from a career threatening injury and the 5th choice striker are to blame is very odd and very incorrect
