Dan Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 Can tolerate this. Beats Christmas Eve. Beats Sunday significantly too.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 Just now, Filbert_Ross said: Gonna be a right session ??
Voll Blau Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 Great, not Christmas Eve. If anything it's even worse for anyone needing public transport though.
NewquayFox Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 How the hell are the Man Utd fans going to get back to London, I think the last train is 9.25pm....
Ted Maul Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 That's fine by me! Not so good for others though, I'd imagine.
Guest MattP Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 Insane kick off time, what the hell is going on?
Larry_LCFC Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 Sky really are a bunch of thoughtless twats. What a stupid decision.
boots60 Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 The only surprise is that so many are surprised! We sold our soul for the TV money 25 years ago.
StanSP Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 Palace and Newcastle also moved. 3 Saturdays in a row in December, games moved for TV. Palace going to 12.30pm on 16th Dec will be tough as I have my work xmas party the night before

I'm just trying to organise something else around this fixture on that day, but am unsure what this means as the League Cup is during the following week, presumably Tuesday or Wednesday. Would the Palace game then be cancelled completely, if we go that far in the cup and rearranged at a later date? Normally PL fixtures carry on as normal, apart from the weekend of the final I thought.

And I have to drive 85 miles to get to Leicester. That's gonna be tough
james87 Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 So we only have two home Sat 3PM kick offs in 3 months Oct-Nov-Dec!!

I wonder if it's to do with the Everton vs Swansea game on Monday 18th Dec. Are they still in the League Cup? If they are, and they get through next week's games, then they're game will have to be moved from the Monday. If us and/or Palace aren't involved, maybe our game will get moved to Monday and theirs swapped to Saturday 12.30pm. Same goes for West Brom/Man Utd and Bournemouth/Liverpool scheduled for the Sunday. If they get through in the cup (not Liverpool obviously ), and they have to play on Tuesday, maybe their games won't be played on Sunday.
Fox92 Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 Palace isn't bad. Saturday midday is better than 5pm or a Sunday
Corky Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 So we have a Saturday game that finishes beyond several train services' final journey so people living outside the area will have to travel back on Christmas Eve. Thanks.
Ric Flair Posted 19 October 2017 Posted 19 October 2017 23rd will be carnage, hopefully I'll not be able to see by 7.45
