I'm Russian, apparently.

 

But that was mainly because I was out at the weekend. Never drink on a 'school night' and only really have a drink when I'm out.

 

Don't understand how people enjoy/can afford to be drinking every night.

Sadly, I'm another Kuwaiti (2.5 years off now).

 

Tried inserting my previous consumption. I used to be the equivalent of 2 Romanians or 2 Namibians, apparently (lots of beer, a fair dose of wine but no spirits).

Edit: Just noticed this bit: "You drink [drank] more heavily than people from Belarus, the heaviest-drinking country in the world"....even more hard-core than @MattP?!

So did I.

 

It was a bad week for me mind to pick as I had a 24 hour binge with a mate last Friday that then carried onto Saturday. Numerous bottles of spirits were put away.

 

I'm starting to think about a major cut down and getting into wine, get my drinking onto quality rather than quantity.

My daughter adopts this principle, counting ketchup and Fruit Shoots towards her 5-a-day.

 

On the same basis, surely I can count all those hops that I used to consume?

Hops are flowers, so certainly on a par with broccoli and pretty similar to cabbage. :whistle:

I particularly remember going into a railway ticket office. The bloke behind the glass was slumped in his chair, unshaven, asleep and covered in multi-coloured confetti.

 

I managed to rouse him, wanting to buy a ticket. He got up and slouched to his office door, so I assumed he was coming out into the foyer for some reason.

But he just locked his door, returned to his desk and pulled down the blind. I had to buy my ticket elsewhere! lol
