If Salah plays for them then I can see him getting a couple especially if he's up against Fuchs.

I hope we get at them. If we can get Vardy in behind then he'll cause them problems all day long.

and if he is up against Chilwell he will get a hat full

Either option doesn't exactly fill me with confidence currently especially against Salah with the form he's in!

I want to see Vardy rested for the game as he look under performing recently..

Want to see Slim and Shinji up top as they seemed to work last time we faced Liverpool.

Please go 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1 whatever you want to call it now Simpson is out. It gives us a chance to give Dragovic some serious minutes and Chilwell and Albrighton will have some joy at wing back. Mahrez and Gray either side or just behind Vardy and when we need a bit more protection then Okazaki and/or Silva can play too.

Liverpool have Burnley away on New Years Day, so I wouldn't be surprised if Klopp rotated the front 3 a bit.

I think that statement needs re thinking. I personally think their is one far better.

No it doesn’t. As a three Ferminho, Salah and Coutinho are the best. Man City are the best ‘team’ which is why they’re pissing all over everyone, but Liverpool edge them in attack, it’s the defensive side from the back of the midfield to the keeper which lets them down.

The stats suggest otherwise.

salah maybe top scorer but man c. Have 3 in the top 5

and the assist master and nailed on POTY in De Bruyne.

And the obvious fact they have way more goals and attempts on target..

Theres rarely been a team that has scored as many as they have at this stage, and as good as the Liverpool trio are, they aren’t as effective as ANY variation that pep has used.

Silva can’t play. A week too early.

I remember when we were their bogey team.  So come on Leicester 2-1 would be nice.  Keep the faith!

Yes me too. In 1981-2 Jock Wallace I think was manager. we were promoted the season before and were on an awful run and rock bottom of the league. Liverpool we’re flying and had all those great players, Dalglish Souness Case McDermott etc. Needless to say we went 1-0 down early then inexplicably we equalised and to cap it we got a second goal in the second half. For the last 25 minutes we defended against waves of reds attacks.  We had completed the double against the champions that season having beaten them in the home fixture 2-0 in the second week of the campaign. It was like Swansea doing the same to Man City this season!

According to their supporters after the match they had a bad day and took us for granted. They then went on a long unbeaten run and we got relegated! A silver lining on a black cloud of a season.

I hope it it happens again but can’t see it to be honest as we’re beginning to look clueless again.

Why hamer ?? ?

Durrrrrr. Pretty obvious really. Aim will be to keep their score to a minimum - not gift them a hatful from every corner and freekick they get.
