If we defend like we have done in the last 3 games we will lose 3/4-1. If we play like we know we can I think we can get a draw. Need Iborra and Simpson and kasper needs to sort his shit Out!

Salah will have a field day even before the set pieces, just trying to work out which out of form hasn’t scored a goal in a million years pool player will score in the 44th minute.

Think we should rest a few of the top players for this one and

target a win against Huddersfield on new years day.

Game after this is Chelsea away .... so if we cock up

the Huddersfield game we could find ourselves back in the pack.

May as well go 3 at the back, nobody can play RB but Simpson really.

Any Goalkeeper

Albrighton Dragovic Morgan Maguire Chilwell

Iborra Ndidi

Gray Vardy Mahrez

Their attack is scary but if we can score against their crappy defence.

The commentator on my stream said Simpson was out for a week or two.

Rather have Amartey than Dragovic at RB if going 4atb.

Fuchs instead of Chilwell at LB please. Unless we're going 352 in which case Fuchs LCB and Chilwell LWB.

Either Iborra or James (play 45 mins each if they can't manage it) back in for Kingy.

Hope Shinji isn't too knackered.

Kasper's confidence seems shot, needs to sort his head out.

We need a reaction and a performance that shows fight, even if we lose, must go down with a fight. Claude needs to be bold and show a message that some aren't guaranteed a place.

Kasper

Amartey

Dragovic

Maguire

Fuchs

Ndidi

Iborra

Albrighton

Gray

Mahrez

Vardy

Nearly completely agree, would play Fuchs over chilwell though with Salah and coutinio, Fuchs is a lot more intelligent against those kind of players

we've not been smashed by a 'big' team this season and tbh I don't think we'll get smashed here either.

we will lose by 2 goals though.

also, we haven't been embarrassed (in terms of number of goals) - we will be embarrassed here in terms of performance though.

They'll probably score from long distance, from a corner and we won't be able to control their front three.

4-0.

..and not give away any corners or free-kicks in our own half

I say we completely throw this maych as we havent got a hope in hell of even getting a point. Save our best 11 for the more winnable Monday match. My starting 11 would be:

Schmeichel

Amartey Dragovic Benalouane Chilwell

Albrighton James King Musa

     Slimani Iheanacho

honestly, this season's schedule is criminel. can't get a break, every time we start a good run we play against 2-3 very good to great teams in a raw, and that takes a game or two to get the rhythm back just to play another two difficulte games and derail our season.

so sick and tired of this!:nigel:

I think most of us would sacrifice defeat in this for victory at home to Huddersfield 48 hours later and 30 points on the board at the end of the festive break.

Therefore let's give our FA Cup team a run out to practise for Fleetwood and give the first-teamers a rest until New Year's Day - at least from the starting XI.
