Europa does 7th get a place?

If both cups are won by top 4 sides will it go down to 7th or does Man U winning the Europa last season screw that up.

Someone on BR thinks the final Europa place will go the the FA Cup runners up, if that is a top 4 side what happens then?

The teams you play at that stage usually aren't good. Were we to get there we'd hopefully progress without our first choice XI.

That's for last year. Different scenarios etc as they involve us, but yes, 7th does get a place in the right circumstance.

Or just Bristol City win the League Cup.

 

We'd have some hilarious fixtures if we got in. We'd end up playing someone like Lincoln Red Imps.

I think we should utilise the squad fully and play two different teams. We could still play both these teams with the squad today.

There's no reason why our second string shouldn't be able to beat 75% of the teams in this competition and qualify in a six game group. As the season progresses and we can start prioritising it as the competition gets harder.

That's one hell of call given a similar side we sent out to that drew 0-0 with Fleetwood.

 

Everton did a bit of mix and match in the Europa League and got battered by half decent French and Italian teams.

It affected our performances in the league though didn't it, also there'd be a few more game due to having to qualify.

Our reserves couldn't beat Fleetwood... or get a shot on goal

Yeah but you'd hope if we got Europe we'd clear out some of the garbage and get some decent players in.

Because getting into Europe would be good for the club, and at some point Puel will use our youngsters and to be fair they look a talented group
