If you look at the matches left I think most people would be disappointed not to get a decent amount of points at all matches apart from the Man City and Spurs away matches. Still think unlikely to happen, but the fixture list is definitely in our favour for a strong finish.

No, and the reason why is that we are not good enough in the final 3rd this season, yesterday showed that, against a top 6 team you won't get as many chances and we need to make better decisions in that final ball. I do believe we are 'better than the rest' but we are still a bit short of top 6. But as 15/16 has taught us.... You never know!

I seem to be one of the more optimistic posters on foxestalk but even I would admit we have absolutely fuching no chance of finishing 4th or 5th. Maths, logic and squad depth are all against us.

Even if we did And won the other five that would give us 71 points.  (I think) 

 

still not enough, especially this season where the top 6 seem so far away from the rest. Arsenal could dump the top four chase if they go far enough in the Europa but spurs won’t. Fifth is absolutely impossible and sixth extremely unlikely. 5000/1 territory !
