Nah, you need one more point than 5th to get 4th. Maybe no points if you have a good enough GD. Not saying we will get it, but this idea you need x points for a certain position is bull, just because it's happened that way before doesn't mean it will this year, if that was true we wouldn't have won the title.

It's not literally true of course but it's a fair indicator. 68 I think is the least anyone's needed in recent years off the top of my head, might be wrong.

 

Just we would need to be very consistent until May to make up the current gap and then stay ahead. It is fanciful. 6th is not impossible if we beat Arsenal at home and they don't get their act together.

Beat arsenal if only, 

 

every season I watch them lose to absolute shit yet they always always seem to get 4 points out of us at least. Even when we win the league by 10 points. I think I was there last time we beat them and I was in primary school and Brian little had just forked off to villa and they had Ian wright up front.

 

in terms of league position I'd be more inclined to look down at the minute still, need to cement where we are.

We have the 7th-9th best side in the league. I personally think 7th but that may be blue tinted specs. Too much of the season has gone for us to make up 10+ points on better teams.

We are still 10 points behind... but I am trying to be optimistic for the foxes, really wanna see how they perform against the big teams in Europe
