Ahmed Musa returns to Moscow

PFC CSKA and Leicester City agreed the loan of Ahmed Musa today until the end of 2017/18 season.

Ahmed will be included in the Red-Blues' squadlist for the national league and the UEFA Europa League knockout stage.

Love to see it work out, get decent game time.

Then return on a positive note, and turn his foxes career around...

Hes struggled, but doesnt mean hes finished.....

Good luck to him, cant see him coming back if he does well as CSKA.

 

Best thing to hope for is a decent run there, a good world cup and hopefully get most of our fee back.

Shame it hasn't worked out here at Leicester and it smelled like a panic buy based on YouTube highlights :ph34r:, but your form nosedived and it never appeared as if you were ever going to make it back into the starting XI.

 

My guess is he'll be gone in the summer.

There will be a loan fee, not huge but some payment same as Leo.

Ulloa's was £1m from what I've read, I'd be more than happy if Musa's was similar.

 

I've absolutely nothing against Musa as I'm sure he's always tried his best but he's not been up to the standard expected. Hopefully him going back to familiar surroundings at CSKA he can show the form that got him a move and we can recoup a half decent fee in the summer for him.

Walsh never bought him to be fair. As with Slimani it looks like we bought some of his old targets as a knee jerk reaction but Walsh never pulled the trigger on Slimani or Musa as they were both bought after he left.

Lots of reasons and opinions about why it has not worked out here for him but wish him well, hopefully a decent run of games either gets us a chunk of our money back or a decent squad player but personally do not see that happening. Lots on here happy to knock him and the club about bringing him in and then they go on about ambition and wanting to compete with the big boys, so take a look at the top 6 that he hope to join and look how many transfers have not worked out for them. sadly a gamble that has not paid off

Watching that Barca clip you can see the comparison with Vardy. Obviously purchased thinking Vardy would leave then no place for him as he can’t seem to adapt elsewhere. Worst no 7 ever?

Never seemed like he wanted to be here and should have concentrated on football rather than his attempt at getting two wife’s . Let’s hope he does well so we can either get some money back or get some sort of player back . I am hoping for the first
