Couldn't see a post regarding his general play like we have for other starters. Looks very promising in the couple of games we've seen him play in.

Wait to see him in a few more games, but he looks a snip at £2m.

Considering the jump from Ajaccio to here, he's had an encouraging start.  Good instincts for a young player.  Not fully PL-ready, but that would be an unreasonable expectation.

 

Even absent Mahrez, though, I would be surprised to see Puel start him against Man CIty.

Looks an exciting prospect, did remind me a bit of early Mahrez in that it seems he is a little lightweight and needs to get a bit stronger for the premier leagues physicality

Yeah like those above, looks very raw, but the raw Diabate seems full of talent for his age and experience so far. Just need to get some coaching and protein shakes into him and he'll be stellar.

 

Hope we've got a £95m release clause on him

Honestly he seems like what Gray should be - a skillful TEAM player with a good combination of trickery, dribbling, pace and passing. For the transfer fee we paid, looks highly promising.

 

Against Swansea he was OK first half, then poor in the first 20 of the second (like most of the team), but then when Nacho came off and Diabate was deployed more centrally looked a lot better and had a good chance at goal. Maybe he's better as a 10 than on the wing? Not sure.

 

Good addition to the squad and fits into Puel's style. To be honest I thought he was "one for the development squad" so it's a pleasant surprise to see him integrate so quickly. Part of the future of the club.

looks a good at times, very raw though but you can see the talent there with him, looked a bit nervous and that to me yesterday but im not surprised given its his first premier league game and its a bit of a set up from Ligue 2 to premier league, as the weeks go on and he adjusts to it all he'l certainly get better

He'll a few games to settle in as folk are already saying about the lack of understanding with Vardy & Ihenancho and that takes time.

He looked brilliant on MOTD but watching at the game he had quite a difficult start with the foul and losing possession until he popped up with that shot which should have led to a goal.I thought he should have been substituted but then he was moved upfront and he looked a different player and burst into life.Certainly a steal I don't think he has solved the issue of replacing Mahrez yet
