I always wonder how England make such a good sport completely and utterly boring.

I know I shouldn’t generalise but when Glenn ‘exciting’ hoddle speaks the words ‘and it’s Henderson to oxlade chamberlain’, I just lose any sense of optimism or enthusiasm. Dross.

This is much better from England. Nice passing, and moving forward with it.

Usually when we pass, it's around the midfield and defence and not much purpose.

Think a few are too eager to write England off too soon, which is understandable with how it's been for years.

If Hoddle will be a Co-commentator in the WC, it would actually take the shine off us doing well or (and I jest) if we won it.

Just imagine, the soundtrack to our success being his nasal bagpipes, oozing platitudes and rimming Spurs.

Jesus.

If you are bored or disillusioned with England you can always switch to Wilf & Ian vs Poland. Nigeria aren't looking bad at all, the game's getting hilariously agressive lol Wilf busy as always and Ian not getting many crosses just like at Leicester. This is pretty open I fancy one of our boys getting on the scoresheet

It’s only when watching England, it’s so apparently clear that the Premier league is such a draw because of its foreign talent. Holland are very poor too.

Based on this match so far, I think I'm genuinely more excited for @Des.'s foxestalk league than I am for watching England at the World Cup... lol

Seriously, how much £ does the premier league get compared to other countries. We should be beating Holland who are in transition and a smaller nation. Yes it’s pretty passing but we have struggled to win games like this. We should be winning and be in the top 4 or 5 in the world by now
