You could, depends on whether he's happy doing that. Whether we can sell other players etc. I wouldn't mind keeping Slimani to be honest. Slim and Vardy as the 9's, Okazaki and Nacho as the 10's. No. Slim is better. I wouldn't want to keep a less good player over a better one just because they would fetch less money if sold. RowlattsFox Posted 14 May 2018 Share Posted 14 May 2018 Iheanacho has done well in the last couple but I think we should still be looking for another 'number 10', I suppose someone that can play either wing and behind the striker would be ideal. A right back a must but I think Puel is happy to fill the squad with youngsters if needed so I can't see a massive spending spree unless we lose more players than we expect. No I'd sooner we bring in a new up and coming young lad from the lower leagues or abroad. Someone with a presence and attitude to bully defenders. Not bothered about Hamer getting another years contract as third choice. He won't be on much money and is unlikely to be personally involved in the player power politics.
