Thoughts on January signing Fousseni Diabate?

Claude Puel signed Fousseni Diabate from French Ligue 2 club Gazelec Ajaccio in January, what are your thoughts of his performances since joining the club, and do you believe he has a bright future at the King Power Stadium?

He's okay. I was at Peterborough and thought he was good... fast, quick feet and good ability.... against a League One side. Not seen much of him in the Premier League; it's hard to judge any player without him playing consistently for a couple of weeks.

Looks to have more idea on how to play than Gray who has a few seasons under his belt at this level

Looks an amazing prospect, dont think anybody expected him to be anything other than one for the development squad, but he's gone straight into pushing for a place in the starting lineup each week, and rightfully so from what we've seen so far...

You know what I like about Diabate?  he's always moving, never stops, always wants the ball, must be a nightmare for defenders

like him so far. can tell how much promise and ability he has and if all goes well for him (in the way that it did for Mahrez), we're in for another treat and it's another gem plucked out of the lower French division. 

 

He's performed better than Gray has recently and it's no wonder Puel seems a fan given how many appearances Diabate has made.

I love his positivity, He's always on the front foot looking to make things happen. With a quick quality no ten he could be a fantastic signing.

I'm very happy with Puel at the helm and hope he is backed in the summer to get in the players necessary to implement his style effectively.

Been very impressed with him. Looks very composed. Better than Gray.

Maybe a bit one footed but you could argue the same about Mahrez and it hasn’t exactly held him back! Such a low cost signing carries little risk for us if he doesn’t turn out to be a PL player but from what I’ve seen so far he definitely will be

Looking at this lad, if Bournemouth offer us £25m again for Gray in the summer then we've got to snap their hands off - I honestly believe we've found a much better player here.
