Why do our fans never seem to put things into perspective. Yes today was bad, but Puel has not even had a full summer window. Relax.

Why do people say calm down when we are playing some dire football ...  and have been for a little while.

He's had 6 months, the worst window to buy in, our best player going rouge. Yes we've been playing poorly, but when a team sticks 11 behind the ball and sits there it is tough to do it. We've not been having the luck lately.

Nothing to do with luck players play back instead of forward under Puel.Soton were right

Yet they're going down and we are going to finish top ten.

We can make excuses for puel till the cows come home, but the reality is we’re never going to be successful under him and it’s going to be boring football. He will keep us  in the  prem as an average mid table team but the problem is we’ll always be looking for a replacement.

Top ten we will see.Maybe not.And why should we be happy with that ,The four game winning streak is the reason we are in 8

As a paying customer this is very very poor

Are you joking? We've been insanely lucky recently. Have you forgot about last weekend for a start?

Any fan at the match today will be pissed off, and having a moan, and is justified in doing so.

It was bad enough to watch, can’t imagine how boring it would have been to listen to.

We were in the relegation zone when he arrived and sacked a manager because of it.

Absolutely everybody would have taken top 10 the minute Shakespeare went.

Style of play is something else to debate, but to claim top 10 isn't good enough this season is laughable.

We’re top 10, not because we’re good, but because all the other teams below us are crap.

Maybe he'd be better off to be 18th in a season where the top 17 are all slick outfits then.

Early season we had a lot of the big teams and struggled.

Last 6 weeks we should have been taking serious points but no -boring and dull .Today the only shot we had in 90 plus minutes was vardy from 2 yards and me mum would have scored. We didn't even look like another attempt on goal would ever happen if we played all night.thats the point -no attempts on goal at all.The build up and possession means nothing if you don't have an end product.

I'll tell you what. I'll calm down when I see a bunch of players paid gross sums of money put in a performance where it looks like they actually want to win and a manager who puts out a team with at least a modicum of thought for entertaining the fans. Until then I and every fan who saw that inept display today has got every right to be a tad angry.

I’m calm, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s nothing alcohol can’t fix, though I’d better stop typing soon as my consumption is above average at the mo!

Absolutely correct. Now I've driven home I'm going to start and hopefully it will all become a blur.

This reminds me a little of Taylor. Takes over a decent squad, initially gets done decent results but the more time he spends with the players and gets his style across the worse we get. Granted he hasn't had much opportunity to bring his own in, but IMO a good manager gets the best out of the tools he has at his disposal, and we have been aweful home and away for some time now and he has almost totally nullified our strengths. I see no real green shoots to cling too, and like others have said, if we take this form and style into next season, then it's a relagation battle and starting again with another manager part way through a season. If I could see any positive improvement under him I would say, yes, give him chance to bring his own players in, but I genuinely don't think he can motivate players as we consistently have to concede first to start even having a go. He's s dull man, who produces dull teams and that's isn't what I expect for my season ticket money.

I understand the point you're making, and it will resonate with many but a caveat:

Puel: French Title, Champions League Semi Finalist, Took unfancied Nice to the Champions League

Taylor: Got Gillingham to the 3rd tier play offs.

The summer transfer window will (and should be) the making of breaking of Puel at Leicester.
