I'd happily start the season with this team. The full backs giving us all our attacking width and Ndidi holding, Grealish and Maddison playing narrower supporting the full backs when required but dominating the centre looking for through balls to Vardy. The England physios who know the player and the injury and are slightly more impartial have advised clubs interested to tread with caution. Could explain the delay as Norwich and the player appear to get the deal done.

Yeah not gonna go into detail but I know they're good friends believe they played together in Covs academy from like 10 years old

The England physios would have assessed this to see if he was in any state for selection. People can then ask the England physios opinions prior to bidding to see the extent of the injury and if they'd want to make an assessment themselves

From what's been said a doubt about whether he would be ready for the start of the season, but as long as there's no lasting damage I dont think that's something we should be massively concerned about - he's a great long term prospect.

Simply suggesting what could go on behind the scenes. Our fitness coach used to work with the national squad at a younger level, so may have known people whom may have looked at Maddison. C'mon you should surely know by just scrolling through one of these pages with the various ITK posters that people talk and say things that is probably against their contract.
