Tielemans63 Posted 9 June 2018 Posted 9 June 2018 (edited) If Mahrez goes and we could get Maddison and Shaqiri in then I'd be pretty happy with that. Maddison's huge promise and vision in the middle of the park and Shaqiri's experience and set piece expertise from the flank - would be ideal imho. Even if we had to pay over the odds for Maddison (say 30m), with Shaqiri available for 12m we'd still have something left over from Riyad's move if he goes for approx £60m. Popular Post daverollo Posted 9 June 2018 Popular Post Posted 9 June 2018 IMHO he is streets ahead of Grealish and Shaqiri - obviously untested in the premier league, but what's not to like - Great technique, completely comfortable on the ball, right and left foot - Can dribble and good initial burst of pace to make space for himself - His vision/awareness of where his team mates are on the pitch is pure class in terms of picking either long passes or little dinks/through balls, just what we need. - Deadball specialist, freekicks and corners and an alternative for penalties as well. - Young, hungry and bags of potential. If he can replicate some of that championship form in the Premier League then he will be a massive asset to Leicester and knocking on the England door. Should be absolutely top of our shopping list for a creative forward playmaker 23
