1. A nod to our past displayed around the stadium including a museum

2. A Safe standing section

3. A Railway Station on the National Forest/Ivanhoe Line

Great shout - less KPFC branding more LCFC branding. And keep the colour theme blue and white, not blue and gold.

1- safe standing section

2- improved catering, including local beers

3- work to improve the look of the outside of the ground- cover up the exposed concrete and bin off the fabric banners

Not a chance.

Speaking to a Leicester legend the other week and the owners are not keen on celebrating anything pre-takeover.

1 - Fan park that encourages fans to get there early and stay late.

2 - An extension to the stadium that gives it character. Something it is lacking currently.

3 - Safe standing.

1. A railway station.

2. An old steam train to run on it.

3. A fat controller to keep an eye on it.   :)

(but really, exactly what davieG said) ...

I'm well aware of this, you should have seen the book they created. Henry Winter referred to it in his piece a while ago, but this book basically rewrites our history and says that the club had never survived in the top league, no mention of Pearson whatsoever either. It's one of the reasons I get frustrated with them, sure they've done a good job with the club but to ignore the history of the place is very disappointing, and just demonstrates how egotistical they are and that they do in fact want to create KPFC.

A train station would be a great addition BUT I think logistically it won't happen. The line that runs behind the stadium (at the kop end) joins the main line but only in a southerly direction. So I guess it might be possible to run trains from the south (Narborough etc) and have them arrive at the stadium, but would not be practical to arrive from the North (and therefore connect with the station at London Road) - or at least not without a HUGE amount of infrastructure modifications.

EDIT - just noticed that line does run on towards Ashby etc as Davie said. I guess that would be a start!

1) knock down adjacent buildings and build brick for brick replica of Filbert Street, complete with leaky roof and smell of piss

2) add extra tier and corporate stuff to existing KP

3) now we have two stadiums to suit whichever league we are in

Unfortunately most football club owners are in it because of ego, boy's toy etc. I think it the nature of the beast, I don't think you find many Billionaires who aren't in love with themselves and they have a view they can do what they want, how they want.

Its a shame as a club history, is what make unique, I do worry we are going slow towards the NFL model of ownership.

1- entertaining football to attract the extra fans.

2- decent players to attract the extra fans

3- Consistent players, who could challenge for Europe, not throw away great chances of getting Europe, because they can’t get up for games, or if the reports are right, don’t like the training or manager to atttract extra fans.

Basically to be successfully on the pitch, the last few home games I’ve noticed quite a few empty seats, yes they might have been sold, but not used.

So to try and attract say an extra 8-10 thousand, we need to be attractive, and challenging for things, we are Leicester after all, the team that was getting 23 thousand in the championship, and the only reason we fill the 32 thousand is premier league football, so we need exceptional football to fill a 40 thousand capacity.

A half empty bigger stadium will kill any atmosphere we have left, I would personally get things sorted on the pitch before expanding

I'm happy to go with all three of those.

Ridiculous if that's true even if the peak achievement came under them.

1. A rollercoaster ride attached to the outside of the stadium, allowing you to do a full circuit before entering - good preparation for LCFC life

2. Free high-quality Thai curries served from stands - a nod to the owners (beer, doughnuts, chocolate & fireworks are not enough)

3. A massive golden statue outside the stadium, depicting Nigel Pearson riding a rampant ostrich while holding the PL trophy aloft

Otherwise, what previous posters have said: a bit of character to stadium, safe standing area, better bogs, fan park area (not bothered about train links as I walk, but sounds a good idea if feasible...unlikely, I'd guess).
