Six words. Sky do not own Skybet anymore.

No but they're showing our game Friday and want to hype up as much drama as they can to generate interest before hand.

Would be interesting to see if any of those who own Sky owned any of the Stars Group shares

Or Man United genuinely want to sign him and Harry Maguire is actually interested in signing for the biggest club in England for a world record fee?

Not sure why this forum is so sceptical.

It's monk blessing day at the KP today. Maybe that's what the Boeing 737 was doing yesterday. No doubt Maguire will be there, as will the owners.

Classic Sky. No quotes, no link to anything/anyone reliable.

Not defending Sky but as journalists we often post info about potential transfers without any quotes or links.

This is because people who give us information usually can't speak 'on the record' and therefore can't be quoted.

Hope that helps.

They probably were interested, they will have been told he's not for sale unless they pay X, where X is a deliberately absurd price and they'll be looking at alterantive targets.

I don't know why anything in our recent history makes anyone think we're going to sell him unless they pay out a frankly stupid free.

He'll be gone in another year, two at most, almost certainly. But can't see him going now for love nor money.

The press have to convince United fans that they're going to get their man all the time to keep them hanging on. It's how they generate clicks and revenue. How many times have we been told they're signing Bale over the last five years?

Yes what a shite man, this time last year he ways saying he could not wait to get to Leicester,he wouldnt have played for England if he hadn't been at Leicester, think his old man is behind this as he's an accountant.

They announced a couple of hours ago that "Sky sources" have told them Boateng has turned down the opportunity to join Man U....

3mins ago... "Sky sources" understand Boateng is still keen on a move to Man U.

They are about as credible as Sean from Enderby lol

Yeah I totally get that, especially in deals involving colossal amounts of money - was aiming more at a quote or anything resembling an inference of his interest from Maguire rather than agents etc. He seems a head down, hard work type of guy so doubt that would be apparent anyway.

We talk about unfounded links but it's all speculation and whether people would like to see the player arrive. If someone posted a link say Thorgan Hazard or anyone was interested in a move to Leicester I'd still be equally skeptical of it.

They/the media report they're interest in big H when United want other players. Forces clubs hands...

How many clicks were recorded for Benzema to Arsenal over the years I wonder lol

What would be really funny is if Maguire comes out at old trafford on friday at the start of the match wearing a Man Utd shirt, then takes it off to reveal a Leicester shirt.

So you’re saying Sky reports are #NeverWrong?

Really don’t wish this to happen. But if so, would demand Andreas Pereira as a make weight.

It very rarely happens that a player is involved in any deal, but as we are in need of a winger/attacking player, I would be pushing for that to be included in any deal, even if just on a season long loan. Martial on loan would be the dream, but highly doubt he would agree to such a move.

Pereira is a decent shout, but like I said, unlikely for any players to be included if a deal is done.

Lets hope the sources are similar to the ones that are credited as being ITK on here and get stuff wrong

I appreciate this but then the evidence is the same as If they just made it up.

In which case, who's to say they didn't just make it up?

The club will make him put in an official transfer request if he wishes to go therefore discrediting him with us fans but id turn it down and put him in Development squad
