Norwich gave agreed 24 £m for James Madison from the foxes and the saints ( Leicester has made a first 20 m but puel urged to match the 24 m price )

madison on will decide in the next 24 h between Leicester and Southampton by weighing the pros and the cons

Absolute rubbish.

Mahrez would have made his way to the top of the game by another route, no question about that.

Mahrez also signed a contract after winning PFA POTY when Kante had left and Vardy was dithering. He deserves his chance to compete at the highest level in the game, any criticism is grossly unfair and uncalled for.

I'm a Leicester fan, not a Mahrez fan. So any criticism of his treatment of this club is justified from my perspective.

I'm also a Leicester fan not a Mahrez fan. if and when he leaves I'll wish him well but will only have a glancing interest in his career from then on. I will however be eternally grateful and respectful for what he did for this club, he's an absolute legend.

Agreed. People don't seem to realise that they can think him a brilliant footballer and ALSO acknowledge he's a disloyal, faithless willy puller.

He's been a pleasure to watch. He's also accused us of keeping him hostage, claimed to be 'depressed' playing for us, handed two transfer requests in, removing one to better feather his nest and shown complete disrespect to the club and fans. You can think him excellent and simultaneously point out he's not a loyal person.

I don't know what it is about Mahrez that causes supporters to cheapen their views of the club. Nobody is bigger that the club.

Mahrez is a dick isn’t he, if he’s a success at Man City no doubt RM or Barca will come in for him and then we’ll see it all over again lol

No he's not. A very good player on his day who has treated us with virtual contempt. Will all ways remember the title winning season but the last year or so nah when someone slaps your face my reaction is to defend myself not offer the other cheek.the worship of him is laughable.

Oh definitely brilliant to watch, I’m grateful for his goals and the money he’s about to bring us :)

I hold no grudge against Mahrez and wish him the best for the future, but it seems that signing with Man City at this point in time is akin to losing your virginity to a prostitute.

Point(s) of order; he's a tool perhaps but not a massive one, and he can be good to watch.

I wish him well but I also wish this was over and he was gone (as I suspect Mahrez himself does)

Personally think mahrez to Man City is done.

Seems as though we getting our business done first.... which would be wise!?!

Done and no one is aware ? IMO the deal has fallen.

I think the deal is done.

I also think the hold up in announcing it is due to an agreement of; not making it public until we have a positional replacement, to announce of our own. Patrick Roberts for example. I’d imagine this deal is not agreed yet, and we might even be moving to other targets.

Would have been done by now!

Hope so, what i do find strange is that apart from Man City no other big club seems to show a strong interest.

The Co-op are selling two Gu zesty lemon cheesecakes for £1.50. I recommend you get some.

Was in the back of my mind that Pep might just be messing about ...   mind games ...  helping with ‘other’ deals by saying if we don’t get you we will have him ...  looking for a bargain ...   pissing us off ...   unsettling Mahrez ..
