can't blame him for wanting to leave.

Who can blame the fans?

A lot of supporters will be glad seeing the back of him.

Which is a shame, with all the great positive things he's done since he joined us from Le Havre.

Just get rid please City

great player and thanks for the title and all but really he doesn’t want to be here so let’s just fvck him off for as much money as we can get for him

Spot on. I’ve had enough of him pissing us about.

On his day a vital part of the squad but those days are few and far between of late.

Better off without him now sadly. No one can really win while he's here.

Not sure he'll go onto Kante like levels though. He might be remembered more for these theatrics around deadline day a much as his talents on the field.

Time to sell. A fantastic talent and one of the best we'll ever have, but I've gotten fed up of this now and I think he's proven since January that he is dispensable. He's been pretty poor on the whole, really.

I don't like saying it because I feel like I'm siding with those who want to write clubs like us off, but I think the only benefit we really got in hindsight by not selling him to Man City was the fact we showed that we couldn't be pushed around. In terms of how much we've lost by not taking the January offer over one in the summer, I'd definitely argue we haven't had that amount's worth from him between the Man City bid and now. What I mean is... £60mil in January was it? We might get about £45mil now, and we definitely haven't had £15mil's worth from him in that time.

It's all a bit depressing really. This season's just been one letdown after another. Absolutely crap.

Can't see how he would improve man city to be perfectly honest, They've got the right blend of talented players who work hard as well, Marhez is halfway there but i don't think he's ever going to be hardworking. He'll be in a team of stars instead of being the star which isn't going to suit his "if i can't get what i want i'll throw a strop" attitude that he's demonstrated during the transfer windows. I think his best direction would be to go to chelsea.

Isn’t it weird?

For the 10 games before Man City’s interest, Mahrez was a world beater. Almost as if he was trying to add to his “show reel” and force through the big move he seeks. Magnificent assists and wonder goals. A pleasure to watch.

It’s probably thanks to Riyad’s contributions when he could be bothered to put in a shift that we will finish as high in the table as we are going to do.

But he has been anonymous for most of the recent games and today he was actually bad. Actually had a negative affect on our play.

Not substituting him today was unforgivable.

He’s a legend for his past exploits, but it really is time up.

Drop him, cash in this Summer and then look back fondly on what used to be, but is no more.

:(

Time and time again Iborra or Silva looked up to pick him out on the right wing only to find he was 3 yards away in the centre of the pitch, a position he didn’t want to play when asked

He moved like a player with 2 broken legs.

He moved? Lol

Poor from Riyad. You know he is just chillin until he moves, not sure why he started or played 90 mins.

Mahrez is the greatest player I've seen wear a Leicester shirt. I'd never disrespect the guy - he's made dreams a reality.

Can't blame him for playing bad under this manager with these awful tactics.

The disrespect levels towards Mahrez from some on here are shameful.

Kante gets more love than Mahrez yet Kante was the one who left at the first opportunity - Mahrez was the one who stayed loyal to us along with Vardy so why does Mahrez get the stick over Kante? How does that work?!

Mahrez brings the excitement to the fans that pay to watch the team - so any armchair fans disrespecting Mahrez can do one in my opinion. Those of us that saw the miracle happen before our eyes will realise that Mahrez is an LCFC legend, worthy of some basic respect.

To call Mahrez a rodent is just disgusting - don't know how you can call yourself a Leicester fan describing him that way.

Kante, had he not had the move he wanted, would have gotten his head down, and never given less than his all. Mahrez, on the other hand, has taken the piss at times with his lack of effort (especially recently) and disruptive behaviour.
