that's what i was thinking i wonder that if they all play or even 4 at once it could be a record? .... don't know a great amount about the home international games played in the 70s and 80s maybe there was more then .... England v Scotland?

mid seventies we had 4 all for england

The time I remember was under Joe Mercer in 1974. Shilton, Nish, Weller and Worthington were all in the starting lineup against Scotland. England lost 0-2

Ugh. Made the trip down here and not one Leicester player on the pitch. I hope Maguire is injured- if bit-part players Stones and Cahill start over him in the world cup, Southgate should be instantly dismissed.

There’s no greater insult to Vardy than playing Alli, a woefully out of form midfielder who never passes to him, in a second striker role, almost as a strike partner to Kane.

 

With Cahill, another woefully out of form player, picked ahead of Maguire, it’s another example of the anti-Leicester bias.
