Or even, don't try to replace Mahrez at all, forget about building your new-look side around a talismanic flair player, and instead build elsewhere.

That'd be my call.

Ah West Ham United. The club where good footballers are transformed into overrated, useless has-beens in the space of six months. If you want to commit career suicide, sign for West Ham.

Just can’t visualise a Brazilian no.10 playing for us, somehow. Think this is still abit beyond us.

He isn't a proper No. 10, usually plays on the right wing for Lazio and occasionally drifts towards the center.

Don't know enough about him to get upset over losing this one.

West Ham fans will no doubt be happy I'm sure.

Hopefully we get Hazard, Roberts and Maddison

I’d be very happy with Hazard, Roberts and Maddison

There's clearly a reason no big clubs are trying to get him when he's relatively cheap in today's market.

Indeed, because be behaves like a massive Bell Sniffer whenever things don’t suit him. He may well change if he moves to a ‘Big’ club, but they see the potential for trouble and they don’t want it.

Reading the scouting report by Sky on him, I hadn't realised he had fallen out of favour with Lazio last season and was used mainly from the bench.

There was me thinking he was their star player!

Hazard > Anderson

This is pretty much done to West Ham.

30m euros.

"ANDERSON VALUATION TOO MUCH FOR HAMMERS

While West Ham have enjoyed some progression with their pursuit of Javier Pastore, there is less encouraging news about Filipe Anderson, Sky sources understand.

The Hammers are still a fair way away from Lazio's valuation of the Brazilian winger as things stand."
